Not interested in the Heat making a comeback. Hoping Spurs slam an already closing door shut in the third.
If I'm the Heat and the lead isn't at least below 12 or 13 by the 4th, I look forward to game 4. You can't beat a team when they shoot 60%, let alone 75%.
Miami is shooting 56%/50% but trail by 21 at halftime. It sure looked like the Heat had made a game of it with about 3 mins left, but the Spurs closed the period 9-2. t_mac1, Wade has 5 of the Heat's 10 TOs. He's got to screw his head on. A couple of those were just pathetic and careless. It wasn't even about trying to make a play. Assuming the Heat bring it to the Spurs in the 2nd half, the key is the Spurs energy level. If they can keep it up enough, they've got this in the bag with or without the incredible shooting. But if they half-step early and Miami cuts the lead to 12 or so fairly quickly, this will be interesting.
I don't mean luck in that they hitting crazy shots. It's the fact that everyone out there happened to be on fire, the offense happened to be extra fluid tonight, and it all happened on the road. A perfect storm because you and I know the Spurs don't normally play like this lol.
Wade has been extremely disappointing. All that rest in the season (and mind you, he's not even playing heavy minutes in the playoffs) and he still looks sluggish. Danny Green is completely out-classing him. Spurs will win this game, barring a miracle. But what I liked from the first half was Leonard's play. Love this guy's attitude and approach to the game. I really want to know how good he is if he was a true 2nd/3rd option on this Spurs team.
Can we somehow replace Parsons with Leonard and then sign LeBron as our power forward? On another note. LeBron is about to get **** on again. It's a damn shame since he's the only one playing out there along with Lewis and Allen.
It's luck. 5 or 6 of the shots were contested and the still made them (ball movement or not). Have the Spurs play the worst defensive team in the league in the 2nd half and they won't duplicate this shooting. It's an NBA record for a reason. And the Heat won't shoot 56% either in the 2nd half. Both teams were just ridiculous, esp. the Spurs.
i'm just curious to where the defenders of LBJ saying the Spurs won game 1 because LBJ was out? They wouldn't shoot that hot with LBJ on the court? even though LBJ played most of the 4th quarter lol. yea like I said, Spurs can go on crazy ass shooting and they would have won regardless with LBJ on the court in game 1.
Did you watch Game 1 and 2 of the WCF? And what they did to the Blazers? And the 4th qtr in Game 1? To dismiss this as purely luck is the equivalent of dismissing the Rockets playoff exit to coin flips.
Here you go...

Every spot on the floor the Spurs attempted a shot from was a hot spot in the first half. Every game is different. The Heat had the lead prior to Lebron coming out (or asked out initially) in game 1. The Spurs were hot from the start here in game 3. Different games, different situations. Every game in the playoffs is a different story.
Was that traveling on Bosh? He planted his left foot, right, then lifted his left only to plant it again...
Bosh man... that guy can carry a team to the playoffs by himself, yet he's the 3rd option the Heat. I still think that's so ridiculous.
