No, you and treeman don't seem to remember history, even very recent history, particularly well. That shouldn't surprise me, coming from biased partisans like you two.
You're more delusional than I thought. The whole thing has been a Shia-Sunni fight for MILLENIA. How exactly has that changed?
And who exactly are we at "war" against in Iraq? Bush sinked us deep in that **** hole that is Iraq... for what reason exactly?
You wouldn't recognize reality if it punched you in the face. Which it will, at some point. It always has the last say. Being a libtard, I am quite sure that you have no intention of letting facts intrude into your fantasy, but I will waste some time and present you with some anyway. Here are some links for you to ignore: Obama's Tragic Iraq Withdrawal http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052970203554104577003931424188806 How the Obama administration bungled the Iraq withdrawal negotiations http://thecable.foreignpolicy.com/posts/2011/10/21/how_the_obama_administration_bungled_the_iraq_withdrawal_negotiations Obama's Iraq Failure http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/robbins-report/2011/oct/22/obamas-iraq-failure/ Biden reveals why the Obama administration abandoned Iraq http://dailycaller.com/2013/01/24/biden-reveals-why-the-obama-administration-abandoned-iraq/ How Obama lost the war http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2011-11-07/news/ct-oped-1107-krauthammer-20111107-7_1_sadr-faction-sadr-city-shiite-prime-minister-nouri The intention of the SOFA was to allow breathing room. The intention was that if the strategic situation required it - and it almost certainly would (and did) - then another SOFA would be worked out before the 2008 SOFA expired.Almost all SOFAs have a defined time period (some, like the agreement between the US and S. Korea, don't - but they are the exception to the rule); most SOFAs will generally include an end date and a provision for withdrawal. Why? Because no nation wants foreign troops stationed there permanently. At the end of 2011 it was blazingly clear that Iraq was not ready yet. Everyone knew it. The responsible thing to do would have been to negotiate another SOFA and keep a residual force there as the Pentagon wanted. We would not be staring at an Iraq about to fall to Al Qaeda right now had we done that. So my question for the libtards: when the caliphate is reestablished and it declares war against the infidel West, how many troops should we send in to Baghdad then? Should we wait until after the nukes start flying, or should we pre-empt that?
LOL, ultimately it is an Islam - Infidel fight. The sunni-shia scuffle is just a domestic dispute. Your failure to understand this would be laughable if it wasn't so dangerous.
Eh, you *** off. There's no reason to try and engage you respectfully. You're an idiot, and intellectually dishonest to boot. Why pretend otherwise?.
Oh yes they will. It might not be anytime soon, but rest assured that American boots have not seen the last of Iraqi sands. The only questions are when and under what circumstances.
Good lord, you are totally off your game, Private Pyle. Sometimes teh ignore list isn't helpful. Did you read this? It's b****ing about how he took too long to withdraw and is stealing W's brilliant statecraft cred - pretty much the opposite of what you are fabricating here.f
LOL, pathetic. How many times a day do you jack off, dude? Do you look in the mirror while you're doing it?
I would respectfully disagree with you on this subject. As someone who is from the middle east, I would like to point out to you the conflicts on Afghanistan's southern border with Yemen, or the insurgents in Iraq pre-US intervention, or the Kurds battle in Syria, northern Iraq, and parts of Egypt. Conflict has long been the defining factor of the region. To define it ultimately as Islam - Infidel due to the relatively short US occupation would be somewhat narrow sighted. All we do in the region is fuel anti-west propaganda, nothing more... Who are we really at war with? An ideology? Good luck winning that war my friend.
It's bad enough how bad you've been clowned in this thread. You've been humiliated. Then you post this disgusting post. Come on.
Unless you want to stay in that country FOREVER, this is an internal Iraqi matter. Sometimes, a people must stand up for themselves. The United States gave 9 years, Billions of Dollars and thousands of lives for NOTHING. Never should have been there. Bush got his revenge on Saddam for trying to kill Pappy........at a huge cost.
