Really? History of football has not shown this to be true.

Don't know what its worth but figure by now you know it's the REAL Ronaldo and he played for Inter. Not sure what fans he fell out with, maybe those that were teenagers in the early-mid 00s but otherwise he is a legend to many others.
Hope you can get top dollar for it though breh.

Lol man, Ghana is more dangerous than they were in 2010. Trust me on this.
They have a more potent attack but they do have a more inexperienced defence so things might be rather open with them. Either way, they are still dangerous as ever.TBH I think that group is very open and I can see any of those 4 teams winning it. Germany are the favs for a good reason but I wont count out any of the others.

Hopin the Italy brehs see this:

Btw, who of ya brehs is from Italy or speaks Italian? Will study there from September til February and might need some help writing to people that offer apartments (learning the language atm, but I'm not good at all). Would send you the English version of my mail in a few days and would be incredibly grateful if somebody could translate it into Italian.

Can't offer any money for your work, but I'd probably rep you weekly for the rest of your life. :(

It's cool though, we need more soccer posts in this forum.

What do you guys anticipate will be Germany's starting 11.. I'm debating on whether keeping or selling Gotze for my fantasy WC team..

He eat his way out of favor.

Maradona and Pele? Never. He was a killer striker in his prime though. Funny because I swear I have a Ronaldo Barca jersey somewhere in my Mom's house. Unlikely to fit since I was about 13 at the time.

Darn right. Barca and early Inter Ronaldo was quick as lightning bolt and deadly as a shark.

Pelé was, of course, an awesome player but if you speak with your average Brazilian nowadays you'll get an earful. Many, if not most, think he's a Class A otario ("schmuck" is the nice translation).

Apparently he had a daughter out of wedlock many years ago, as proven by DNA tests. He never acknowledged her, let alone supported her. She became sick from cancer and wanted her dad to visit him. He never visited her in the hospital, never went to her funeral. He sent flowers but under the impersonal "Empresas Pelé" (Pelé Businesses, more or less).

Plus he just generally talks a lot of ****. Brazilian footballers don't even like him.

Wouldn't count on Götze starting, although the Reus injury raises some questions. Attacking midfield will likely be Podolski/Schürrle-Özil-Müller. Götze will play if Löw opts for a false 9 or if Özil has a horrible game 1, otherwise he'll likely be a sub and play in later stages of a game or when the starting XI doesn't work.

Likely to start as striker, but we'll see. There's still no clear solution regarding true or false 9.

nothing wrong with rooting for the three Lions but there should be more teams from South America in Semis and Quarterfinals.

They wouldn't of had a better chance than Sweden.

Sweden didn't make it because Ronaldo had an insane game, Zlatan almost pulled them to the world cup.
