That old geezer was annoying me the entire telecast. Felt good to shut him up. Man I miss Milo Hamilton. Do you guys remember when Bill Worrell called games on UPN and CH 51? That was pretty sweet.
And he fits in perfectly to our biggest hole in the lineup (besides LF). Singleton's cut reminds me of Prince Fielder's.
Grossman has been getting on base. I played with the kid and against him growing up. He can be a special hitter. Very good at the plate.
Yeah, hope he keeps it up. Definitely upgrade-able, regardless. (Giancarlo Stanton would be so effing sick)
Why does that name get brought up so much? Has there been sources suggesting that he wants to come here or that Lunhow is interested? I am curious because I am out of the loop in regards to baseball rumors.
I think it was a hotter rumor earlier in the season, when it was assumed (rightfully so) that they would be the worst team in baseball, or close to it. I'm not sure how the hell they are 3 games over .500 right now, but I guess his availability is closer to a pipe dream right now.
Fowler,Altuve,Correa,Stanton,Springer,Singleton That's a sick first 6 LOL. The Stros can easily grab another elite bat in FA though.

Why not? Is there a history of player spurning the biggest money because they come from horrible teams? Heck, Mike Hampton signed with the crappy Rockies and destroyed his career in Coors. If the Astros are willing to pay 10% more than everyone else, they can get whoever they want. It's debatable whether the Astros SHOULD do this. I think they should. They obviously feel otherwise. And I don't presume to know enough about Jim Crane to know what the budget is. But any team can get any player if they pony up enough $$.
I know Chris Carter is relatively similar, but I'd love the idea of Adam Dunn finally coming home to finish his career here as a DH for a couple years.
