dammit, Kwame just woke up. He's rushing to go make the bets.

cardpire, so the 6 trifecta bets on three horses in all variations, is called a Trifecta Box. That's what we're doing if Kwame can make it in time.

    GO KWAME!

Peter Pan wins. lols. Totalist and Commissioner.

Chrome got in trouble for the first time I've seen having to go wide. sigh

Well, at least I was right about no Preakness loser had a chance. The unknown with few youtubes did it.

Owner says they purposely boxed him. I don't buy it. Didn't look to me like it was necessary to go wide,,,the final stretch gives you plenty of time to find a path from the rail.

Owner says no horse should be allowed to run the Belmont who didn't run the Derby. Both Tonalist and Commissioner didn't run any of the other two races.

    sigh

So here is the Peter Pan Stakes run at the Belmont May 10th (only 9 furlongs, though).. which I watched this morning to say Tonalist was "A wrong bet." lols

Tonalist wins and Commissioner gets second, just like today.

This is 9 furlongs run one second slower than all Chrome's 9s. But it was a muddy track...threw me off.

Charismatic still the best modern horse and should have won the triple crown. Big Brown was also better than California Chrome.

We've agreed on Charismatic earlier in the thread. Of course, we'll never know about Barbaro.

Many say Smarty Jones was the best.

For the record, Smarty Jones ran a slow Derby and Preakness, one second slower than Chrome both times, but Smarty and Birdstone ran their Belmont 1 second faster than Tonalist.
