Agreed. Even when the pin stripe thing was in fashion my friends and I were all disgusted by those atrocities. By far the worst in Rockets history, definitely top 5 in NBA history IMO, and in the conversation for all pro sports. Although those Pitt and Green Bay original NFL jerseys probably take the cake.

 

All of the modern/retro jerseys are great, the Jazz and Warriors have awesome jerseys too.

I personally like the alternate jersey. If we made a home jersey in that style, I'd be down. Then we'd have new jerseys with a throwback style, kind of like Phoenix..

 

Prefer our current retro unis but I would take those home & away unis right now. Really like the red and silver combo.

 

The only way to make Morey see this thread is for all clutchfans to twitt this to Morey.

 

Didn't say it was the worst ever, but it's pretty close. The lettering on the uniforms and the disastorous Jeremy Lin signing are examples of the Rockets continuing to try and cater to the Asian fanbase. I'm so sick of this franchise trying to cater to the Asian fanbase just to get money. I had no problem with it when Yao was here, but it's been 3 years since the dude retired. Can we please go in a different direction.

 

I honestly think if we didn't have the worst jerseys in the NBA we'd be a better free agent destination. Like it or not superstars care about fashion, and their branding. Rebranding making the Rockets seem like a cool destination should be a priority. It looks like Hello Kitty designed our uniforms it is actually brutal.

I keep saying it , go with the first year "Houston" Rockets 1973 Uni.

The Milwaukee throwback red uni's are actually what the ROCKETS should like like. VERY CLEAN look.

I wasn't feeling the Suns design much on paper and on introduction. I did think to withhold judgement until seeing on-court though. After that happened, I agree that they did a good job on those

(WINNING helps makes uni's more acceptable, but still they did ok)

Winning moderately has done NOTHING to make me like the last 2 Rockets uniforms, current and teethy logo PJ's before it.

Which means they're just lackluster and bad

 

So this might actually be happening....
