Man LBJ should have been in the game for his team. Rondo played with an ACL, Kobe played with a broken leg in the second half this year along with numerous other injuries, Jordan flu, and Hakeem played while fasting. I'm positive Kobe woulda bit his leg off then to sit out in a FINALS game

I don't think its ever a good idea to keep playing when you're cramping as bad as Lebron tonight. Your body is literally shutting down, and that's a sign from your body telling you to stop what you are doing. You can definitely hurt yourself if you try to play through it. Just give it plenty of rest, hydrate your muscles, do lots of stretching and warming up before the next game.

Muscle cramps are no joke, you can't just "tough it out", if he would have tried to play he would have been going half speed at best and he would have hurt his team even more.

If he kept playing then he would have risked being out the whole series. He tried to come back out and it would have been stupid, but whatever Lebron is a p***y. You guys act like these players are robots.

LeBron could get shot during the middle of a game and there will still be haters. That's the nature of being a superstar. Kobe, Durant, Jordan, Dwight, etc. all get the same treatment. Its a damn shame.

Also to those complaining about LeBron not drinking water, there was wired footage of him asking/demanding for water and more colder water from his staff. **** happens man.

Most of the criticism of course comes from people associating cramps with not being a real injury. I'm certain people here have had cramps before, I get foot cramps on occasion and it literally renders you unable to move and it feels like your muscles are going to rip apart.

People who have had back spasms, or leg cramps like Bron can attest to this.

    Now that is too funny.

Don't agree with those criticizing Lebron for having cramps. Good lord. If anything, fault the Heat training staff for not knowing his body better and understanding what he needs. Or even Spo.

But you can't freaking play when you have a cramped muscle. That's just crazy.

    (EDIT)

Comparing a cramp to a real injury is like comparing a stomach ache to a chronic illness. Sure it sucks and its temporary immobilizing, but its nothing that can't be taken care of with some rest and care.

@ChrisMannixSI Follow FYI: Celtics-Lakers played Game 5 of the 1984 Finals in a 97-degree Boston Garden. East coast humidity. Larry Bird scored 34 points.
