I just hope the Marlins don't disregard innings restrictions to rush Kolek to the majors like they did with Fernandez.
Left handed Doesn't have as much wear on his arm since he is a HS prospect.. More malleable since he isn't as set in his bad habits.. Great frame Doesn't hurl the ball, has an easy delivery that looks like it can last a long time. Also probably cheaper than Rodon, giving us more flexibility later in the draft. SO, Who are y'all hoping falls to our next 2 picks tonight??

MLB Network putting him second behind Correa on our top 10 prospects ranking. Saying Santana and Folty are next to be called up Imagine 5-6 years of Aiken, Appel (the one we drafted), Folty, Cosart, McCullers, Velasquez, Thurman, etc with the Astros lineup having Santana, Correa, Ruiz, Stassi, DeShields, etc inserted.
Phillies get safest pick in the draft, IMO. Rare to say that about a pitcher, but Nola is going to be a solid.
Kind of amusing. Little did he know, just a few months later... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-conversation="none" lang="en"><p>“<a href="https://twitter.com/MLBMeme">@MLBMeme</a>: Putting Clayton Kershaw's contract into perspective... . <a href="http://t.co/fIXgdOH1bu">pic.twitter.com/fIXgdOH1bu</a>”</p>— Brady Aiken (@bradyaiken10) <a href="https://twitter.com/bradyaiken10/statuses/423616017021952000">January 16, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Out of those 12 guys, if 2 are stars, 4 are above average, and 6 dont last. That would be about right. Question is, which are which?
Curve is his best pitch. Averages 92-94 with his fastball, can hit 97. Beginning stages of a developing change up. High end comparisons too Cliff Lee/Clayton Kershaw. David Price is who models his stuff after.

Id say Correa and Aiken will be stars (with their intangibles and time to develop properly). Folty being above average. Too early too tell on the rest but Santana and Stassi are looking great rising through the system.
