    There will be no drone strikes in Qatar. They are an ally and we have basing there.

    At least you're honest about it.

    So, when Hollywood makes a movie out of this, who wants to bet on how Bergdahl is portrayed? I say he is captured in a stimulating opening scene in intense combat after performing many heroic actions, spends 5 years being tortured by his captors, but comes to understand their ways and value as human beings, retyurns as a hero, and with his newfound wisdom proclaims how America's arrogance is the root of all evil in the world.

    My money is on Matt Damon as PFC Bergdahl. Nominee for best actor at the least.

    If you think we are going to launch drone strikes in Qatar you're a moron. They are a close ally in the region. It would be like launching drone strikes in Saudi. Sure, there are lots of people there who deserve it, but there are some places where launching Hellfires at people simply isn't good etiquette. Qatar is one of those places.

    Clearly a right wing attack there by ultra conservative Senator Feinstein.

    Do you think at any point the lapdogs for the administration that post here will realize that this isn't a partisan issue? It was simply a really terrible decision by the White House where they ignored the advice of essentially everyone, including their own party. This is not a Democrat vs Republican issue no matter how hard the trolls try to make it one.

    You know, it's really not that hard. From Wikipedia:

    Beginning in 1992, Qatar has built intimate military ties with the United States, and is now the location of U.S. Central Command’s Forward Headquarters and the Combined Air Operations Center.

    The following American bases currently exist:

    Al Udeid Air Base
    As Saliyah Army Base
    Doha International Air Base

    So, are you joining mc mark in his moronic theory that we're dropping them off in Qatar so we can drone them? Are we thinking that was part of the agreement that Qatar hammered out for us, giving us permission to launch drone strikes on their soil and pissibly kill Qatari citizens?

    Brilliant! :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Freaking morons.

    Why would I ever call for impeachment? Do you know who the vice president is? Also, it's too late, the screw up already happened, how would that help anything?

    Since they already blew this situation the least they can do is punish the traitor for his crime and not do it again. IMO did the administration break the law? Sure, but they certainly aren't the first or last administration to break the law and I don't think any good could come from the zoo that would be an impeachment trial.
