His struggles were due to the fact that he was ridiculously raw player similar to Anthony Barr, I think he'll do a lot better this year.

Nix has eliminated (for the time being) social media to focus on football. That's what I like to see!

Good pickup. My main concern is that he comes out of his stance and stands almost straight up nearly every snap. If our coaches can fix that, we have a player.

Nose tackle Louis Nix III has been missing time at OTAs with an undisclosed issue. Head coach Bill O'Brien did not elaborate on the nature of what ailed the Texans third-round draft pick but didn't seem overly concerned either.

"He's got something wrong with him but I'm not sure what it is," O'Brien said in Monday's post-practice press conference. "I think he'll be fine."

    here is what really happened,

nix can't run the 10 yard dash in under 3 seconds, but the staff already knew this so in order to not embarrass him by placing him in that out of shape list they make, they went with the imaginary injury.

let the smoke clear and hop on the mystery machine, shaggy.

I'm just in awe that O'Brien didn't elaborate that injury question into five sentences, while using the words "fighting", "battling", or "good kid" six times.

Kubiaks gone, guys. Give it a rest.

Let's focus on the fact that Nix is a bust.

If O'Brien came out and said a few lines that included "battle fight", "kids", "hard", etc... maybe refer to every single reporter interviewing him as "John"... that'd be funny though. He'd go from unproven bald dude to my hero and favorite coach in Houston within seconds.

I really wish we still had an NL team. I've tried to look past it, but I really don't like the AL game, there's just no strategy to it compared to the NL. It's pretty much "baseball for dummies"

    You b*stard

At least we have some talent coming up finally maybe starting to turn the corner!

Would be much better if we were still in the NL though :(

Yeah, I was a fan for so long it's really hard that it's not the same anymore. Either way, I actually watched a game this year, which is more than I've done since the switch to the AL. Maybe one of these days it won't bother me anymore. They really look like they are about to start heading into the right direction, maybe 3 or 4 years away from being something special.

    Agree completely.

I never realized how much I'd feel that way until the move happened. Never thought I'd be that guy.
