Was hoping Tyrion would kill Tywin this season but judging from the titles of the last episodes.. Idk if it it will happen.
I wonder if Lady Stoneheart will be the season's finale. Do you think show watchers will even remember the Brotherhood without Banners?
Tonight is about two showdowns for me: Thunder v. Spurs Red Viper v. The Mountain Maybe they'll cancel each other out.
I think they'd have to bring the Brotherhood back into the story. Beric Dondarrion allows whatever unholy power that is keeping him alive to be transferred to create Stoneheart as the new leader of the group. I guess we'll see what happens t

Season 4 isn't even over and we already have some casting news for season 5. An apparent character/casting list was leaked to WinterIsComing.net. Surprised Arianne Martell isn't shown for the casting call but maybe they already have her. Hopefully the got someone sexy Would love Idris Elba for Areo Hotah but he's probably too big of an actor for the show
I'm really hoping she will be. That will shock the hell out of a lot of people. I could see it being one of the last scenes in episode 10. I read somewhere that the chick who played Luna on True Blood is being considered for one of the Sand Snakes. I think she would be perfect for the role of Arianne, she looks like a bad ass. Janina Gavankar: Spoiler BTW: Would hit.
They appear to be completely on the schedule I expected. Next episode will probably be almost entirely on the wall. Only question is whether or not Lady Stoneheart appears. Watching the Red Viper go out like that, knew it was gonna happen and it was still hard to watch. And Sansa, she showed more guile and awareness in one episode than she has shown in 4 seasons and all of the books. Hope they keep going with this instead of reverting her back to sad helpless Sansa. With all the cool characters getting killed we need some of the lame ones to start stepping up.
I thought last nights episode was outstanding and sort of stayed true to the books. The fight scene between the Mountain and the Viper was outstanding but clearly not as epic as it was in the books. The big change IMO was the death of Lisa and how Little Finger handled the whole situation. Little Finger does nothing that is not well thought out and calculated. In the book the young musician was in the room when Little Finger through Lisa out of the Moon Door and they put the blame on him. Why change up the scene for the series? Suddenly Little Finger is out of character and in serious enough danger that he needs Sansa to save him? That scene was just not very much like the Little Finger who always has a well thought out game plan. Not a big deal, it was nice to see Sansa's transformation in the series which is something she had not done in the books IMO. Overall, it was a great episode. I still find myself hoping the Viper wins even though I know how it plays out.
I didn't think about this last night, but they have basically exhausted all of the Sansa/Littlefinger material from the books. They only have a minor mention in AFFC and DWD. I'm guessing GRRM told them his direction for Sansa and they have to portray it on the show before it is shown in the books, although I agree they could have done it without having Littlefinger appear so out of character. Me too dude, me too, the cool characters are dropping like flies in these last few episodes
Do we know for sure that Littlefinger didn't coach Sansa beforehand? I could easily see them revealing later on that he had told her what to say.
Man, Oberyn's fight hurt just as much this time as it did years ago. Gonna miss the character. The actor was fantastic.
In my ideal world HBO would pause to wait on Martin to finish the books and fill the time with prequel type material. I could see a season of Oberyn traveling the world being a badass going over well. Maybe even make Robert's Rebellion into a season. There's a lot of history to be told and a world with a lot of potential. I think the crew they have making the series could pull it off and it's popular enough that people would watch.
