Dude just tied a record for most HRs in a 7 game span by a rookie... his total was last achieved in the 1930's. When outsiders think of the Astros, it's no longer Suckville, it's Springer.

I mean I would like to see Duncan get his 5th ring but I also would like to see Wade and Haslem get their 4th ring. So basically I don't care who wins.

How could you like D Wade? He's such a dirty player in my eyes. I will never forget how he dislocated Rondo's elbow.

I have no idea what you are referring to and how that was a reply to my post. No where did I mention that you HAD to root for the Spurs. I was responding to people that were saying it was anti-Rockets to even root for the Spurs even when they aren't playing the Rockets.

I'm a Rockets fan first but I like how the Spurs play. I just got annoyed at people saying you can't be a Rockets fan if you enjoy their style and want them to win against the Heat. That's what I had a problem with.

+1. I love how the Spurs system works. I hope one day, I'll see it with the Rockets.

Nobody said it's anti-Rockets if you enjoy the Spurs style and/or respect their players. I like how they play.
    But cheering for them?

Enjoy SA and their fans ballin all over Houston... and Duncan ballin all over Hakeem... smh.

Meh.. I'm a basketball fan first and foremost and Rocket's just happen to be my favorite team. Nothing wrong with hoping this Spurs team beats the Heat. They have a great system and the players are humble, likeable, and deserving of respect. Pretty sure Yao is held to similar regard from fans of different teams around the league. Never liked the Spurs, ever. Or any of their players but you gotta respect what they're still able to do if you're a fan of basketball.

I can never like a dirty player no matter how great a player he is. I like to see good guys win. In fact, seeing good character guys with less talent beating more talented douchebags is more satisfying. I guess it's the David and Goliath thing in me.

This post was from the first or second page.
That's the kind of post my original post was targeting.
