Glad someone else said it/agrees. Rival(ry)? As much of a rivalry as Cowboys and Texans (aka not at all!)
I don't care honestly but good basketball is hard to pass up. I hope the officiating is the best it could possibly be for this spectacle.
Unfortunately, yes. I want the Micheal Jordan of our time to get his, but the heat losing might shake up the nba with 2 more good free agents(wade won't opt out and is only getting more run down, if they can't win with him this year and without some of those supporting cast members, they won't win next year) Its tough to say if bosh and james will opt out if they dont win but the More free agents out there the better. Buyers market
I'm just hoping for a great series. I sort of want the Spurs to get their revenge for last year's choke job, but at the same time I want the Heat to get the 3peat.... I still think Spurs will win..but either way, i hope for a great series. At least I can just enjoy and watch than sweating/nervous if the Rockets were playing
I don't hate the Heat, and I don't always go for the Texas teams by default. I happen to just really like the Spurs. A bunch of players with no ego who just play really hard, really smart, and play together. I honestly don't understand what is not to like about them. If its not the Rockets, I'm happy to see them win it all.
I kinda want Lebron to win so Kobetards can STFU forever and should feel stupid for comparing Kobe with the all-time greats
They play basketball the right way. The only thing to hate about them is their annoying fans and you can find 2xs that when looking at Miami fans. I am going for SA. I can't stand to see Miami win another. I want LeBron to have a 2-3 Finals record so his comparison to MJ can be put away forever. Another perk that comes along with a Spurs' victory is the possibility of Duncan, Pop, and Ginobili retiring on top. That would be more beneficial to the Rockets than the Heat winning another.
I don't root for the Spurs. I root against the Heat. I've said it many times on this board. I don't really understand the Spurs hate. Maybe because I don't live in Texas anymore, Spurs fans don't bother me. Anyway, it can't be worse than Lakers fans. And it's hard to hate players like Duncan. And I always like to see small market teams succeed.
