    Biaw + Houston restaurants = ?

But, yes, in theory it would work.

I think Diaw may also be an elite buffet connoisseur. I think he goes in an all you can eat situation with his game face on after watching film and with a game plan to maximize his skills. I can imagine him being followed by an NBA Inside Stuff camera, looking back at it and saying in his accent, "It isn't just about the strategy, although I do watch a lot of film, but a lot of people don't understand that there is an art to this sh**."

His strenghts wouldn't be exploited in our crappy ISOffense with inexistent off ball movement.

Neither would solve our rebounding problems at that position.

Diaw is everything a lot of you are hoping T_ones becomes but will likely never even come close to being.

Relax it's not like his game is based on athleticism.

If it was, age would probably be a bigger factor.

If we end up dealing either T-Jones or D-Mo we could do a lot worse than Diaw. Wouldn't help much with rebounds but plays with a lot of passion and fire and can stretch the floor. Would add some points to our bench which is sorely lacking.

Totally schools Terrence Jones in this video.

He can pick and pop, he can shoot the 3, can pass, can get a few rebounds, can penetrate. Would love to have him on this team regardless of the role

Only weakness I see is not being able to finish strong at the rim on pick and rolls and would struggle against tall/athletic forwards. Very good in the post backing down anyone up to his size. Has experience playing the run and gun system in Phoenix so should have no issues fitting in to the rocket's system

If we can't get a trade for a 3rd superstar, I'm all for simply adding this guy with the MLE to round out our big man rotation with Dwight and Asik. However........I don't think the Spurs will let him get away. They know his value.

Do you know who else will chase him this summer?

    The Spurs.

And they have plenty of Mexican food to entice him.

Eh, Pop made Diaw nothing, but a fat sack of basketball IQ and potential, and I think he'd go back to that if he left SA.

Ugh. Les is not a Drayton McLane. He won't tempt us with "major free agent" only to slap lipstick on a Diaw and sell it to us.

Also, didn't we already try this whole "big man vet who can shoot" thing with Brad Miller? Pass.

Hmm... he could definitely contribute here. Which means... sounds like a Clippers signing waiting to happen.
