The Last Chance. I will be cheering for the Spurs and I am picking them in seven. Redemption! Tough, tough series probably decided by home court.

I hate that I'm rooting for the Heat, but I can't stand the Spurs. At least if Miami does three-peat, they'll have finally earned it in this round. Cuz their road back to the Finals has been a joke. At least the Bulls in 93 had to sweat the Knicks and in 98 had a 7 game war with the Pacers. And the Lakers in 2002 had that brutal(and controversial) 7 game slugfest with Sactown.

it will be interesting to see how wade's health will effect the series.

he was terrible last year but had just enough in him to fight through his injuries.

Yes...that extra day between Games 6 and 7 was negotiated when the league agreed to change the game format to 2-2-1-1-1 from the old 2-3-2 format in the offseason.

I'm thinking Spurs in 6 as the Spurs have played specifically for another shot at Miami all year. That and Pops has had a full year to plan for the Heat. However, I'll say Spurs in 7 just to be on the safe side.

I wouldn't be shocked if HCA is the deciding factor.

Either way, going to be a heck of a series. :)

Best 2 teams in the Finals. That's all you ask for. Going to be an epic series.

If the Spurs win, where does Duncan go in regards to all time greats?

There's thread now about whether or not Lebron has surpassed Bird/Magic, but if the Spurs end up winning, what implications does that have for Duncan in the all-time great rankings?

He's already the greatest PF. You could probably make the argument for him being in the top 10? 12 of all time?

I'm going with Spurs in 7...just like Lakers/Celtics in 2010, both teams will win a road game.

Yeah. If it goes 7 I may make the road trip and try to go. Tickets are $400 to get in on the ticket resale site now though.

I'll go if it goes to 7 games. I went last year and wasn't disappointed. At least it would be just a drive away this time.

Much respect, you are a better NBA fan than I. I can't imagine shelling out $400 and driving (well its only like 3 hours in this instance lol) some distance to watch a non-Rockets team. :p
