This game hasn't been a disaster by any means. Keuchel has to be expected to have a "bad" game where he still had some excellent innings mixed with some innings that resulted in only 3 runs through 6. Springer's going to have strings of 0-fers. There's going to be questionable base running. But even so, it's still just 3 to 1, and we're wasting time with some of these other guys. I don't mind losing by the mistakes of our best players, but it's so frustrating to have it compounded by Krauss.
We need to call up Singleton! I mean the faster we get these guys up here the better i think... he can't be worse than Krauss!
I love that there's still a chance. What I was trying to get at was that there's a huge gap of hope I feel between seeing guys like Keuchel, Springer, Altuve and Castro do work versus guys like Carter, Kraus and Presley, and it's absolutely killer. It's like somebody switching out your steak dinner periodically with fish heads.
Speaking of players we are wasting time with. At no point this season has Jerome Williams had anything resembling a good stretch. If we must keep a garbage long pitcher, why don't we give one of our numerous AAA arms a chance to do that.
I can't stomach the black holes in the second half of the lineup any more. We need bars to push Castro and Dominguez down the order and replace 1B, the DH, and both corner outfielders.
Im just hoping by the start of next year that: 1. Singleton is called up 2. Correa is close to being called up 3. We find one more OF through trade or FA 4. Use some money in FA to put a couple of band aids on the bullpen I can live with Dexter Fowler and Chris Carter for now so I dont think there are that many holes.
Guzman is complete trash. The loser was yawning as he stepped into the batters box. Yawning!!! Take your quick little caught looking strikeout and go back to your snooze you ****ing loser...
This lineup really isn't that good, the Springer/Altuve insanity was masking that. Singlton will be up soon, and I really think we may go after a big time OF/DH bat between now and the beginning of next season. I ain't even mad.
