Why would Minnesota want Hibbert? They have Pekovic

So we would basically be giving up Asik, D-Mo and the 25th pick for jut Millsap?

    Fresh start?

Must have been tiring racking up those 0 points 0 rebounds performances.

This trade makes too much sense. No way it will be done haha

Asik for Hibbert straight up is not a good deal. Asik is the better player. But in a three team trade like this, I can see the logic.

Wow, never mind. Hibbert's contract is 100x worse than Asik's.

Horford getting hurt changed a lot for the team...They played very well with first year Head coach(long time spurs asst coach) Mike Budenholzer...

Its about being able to generate room to acquire a bigger named star...

Indy gets to start fresh with a real rebounding starting center...Hibbert gets to be part of a better coached system that will allow him to work as a center with Horford on the other block(who can now play as a PF).

Roy's contract isnt unreasonable, considering that he was the best center the East had starting off the season(and was an All star)...secondly, his contract isnt unreasonable...14.9 and 15.5 million isnt a bad deal.

Hibbert needs a new place/scenery, and the Rockets need a PF. Atlanta needs a Center...This might be a way the Rockets conserve pieces and still be in the running to acquire a big name free agent.

I could see Phoenix offering one of their picks and Alex Len for Roy Hibbert.. Portland could offer Lopez, Leonard, Crabbe, and Claver for Hibbert.. Nets could swap Lopez for Hibbert.

We got two centers better than him. Let's keep it that way!

Players on that team act like they hate each other on the court. Wouldn't be surprised if every Pacer rotation player would be delighted to find an exit and a fresh start.

Why would the Hawks trade Milsap or Horford for worthless Hibbert and his crippling max deal?

Hibbert has been garbage ever since he got the thought in his head to command a dominant role on the offensive end. He's never been a good offensive player--too mechanical and too oafish. He's never been a great rebounder either because he lacks the quickness. But, he was able to make an impact as Indiana's defensive anchor--that he was good at. Once he started getting away from his bread and butter due to his own volition, he's become a shell of himself. So, the answer is NO. Like Pat Riley said about the "Disease of Me"...Hibbert has that.

I'm so glad people on CF arent GM for our team.

Howard nor Omer never got a 0 pt 0 reb game playing start minutes.

We might be able to get in on this- send Asik to Indiana and we get something else. Or if they blow it up I'd love to steal David West (I doubt they get rid of Paul George but he'd be a great fit here).

    I'd take Asik over Hibbert.

Asik is close defensively and a much much much much much better rebounder. Hibbert is so inconsistent overall.
