I know you overrate our players (I always enjoyed the Lin-to-Milwaukee ideas, us getting Butler's expiring and a first round pick; priceless). But did I misread this? You think two balloon payment contracts are worth the #10 and MCW?
No. I think #10, MCW, and taking on two balloon payment contracts may be worth #4 to Philly. And #4 may be worth, MCW, #10, and #25 to Orlando. And max cap space for the Rox may be worth Asik/Lin/#25.
Nah, I really don't want to touch Sanders 4 yr./$44 million contract. Much worse than paying Asik $8 million/year unless you're considering Sanders as a PF.
Rockets out: donatas, asik, Lin, jones, 1st, 2nd In: love, brewer Milwaukee Out: delfino ilysova In: Lin jones 2nd Timberwolves Out brewer love In: 1st asik donatas ilysova delfino Idk something like this.
Horrible why not just cut the other teams out and do Asik for Horford straight up if thats all Atl wants in return?
Why would the Suns give up on Plumlee to rent Asik for a season. They MAY trade down from 18 to 25. Memphis would need Bev, too. Even adding Bev & 25th pick I am in.
Houston in: Mike Conley, Mason Plumlee Memphis in: Chandler Parsons, Jeremy Lin, Beverley, Phoenix #18 pick Phoenix in: Omer Asik, #25 pick Yeah I think I'd still do that. We might just say forget the middle man and give Memphis our first, but I think PHX would do that so might as well get Memphis a more attractive offer. Beverley and Parsons would hurt to lose, but if we used the MLE and the extra made cap space wisely to replace Parsons and a little bench help, that team could be a contender.
I read rumors about Sacramento trying to trade #8 for a veteran. They don't want to develop another player. I bet Morey is working the phones for that pick.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=mgkxhx7 Houston receives: Kevin Love & Corey Brewer Minnesota receives: Jeremy Lin, Terrance Jones, Donatas Montiejunas, #8 pick in 2014 Draft via Kings, #25 pick in 2014 draft via Rockets, #42 pick in 2014 draft via Rockets. Sacramento receives: Omer Asik
Bulls need scoring. We need defense. Bulls in: Chandler Parsons Rockets in: Jimmy Butler, Pick #19 OR Bulls in: Chandler Parsons, Jeremy Lin Rockets in: Taj Gibson Is Taj worth more than that? I'm having a hard time deciding on his trade value.
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=n8gmdn9 LIN and Casspi for HILL and R.Butler Butler seems a pretty good 3pt Shooter
George Hill is Jeremy Lin 2.0, but sad to say he might be just as bad. I would not take anyone from the Pacers besides Scola.
wow, no no no. We need cap flexibility for the 3rd star. We need to get rid of Asik and Lin and bring back nothing in return, ie expensive players. Unless of course they are Stars. Rockets will not trade Lin and / or Asik for nothing less then, Picks, Stars, cheap veterans. Rockets Will not trade lin and / or asik for contracts equaling lin and asiks, not only that, go past the 2015 nba season. Unless of course its for a star. Rockets need to remove mediocre players. Replace them with veterans. Remove asik, and lin, get star, bring championship, O almost forgot, get Hollins, for head coaching...rrrrrr.... assistiant coaching with Mchale.
