I think Asik is a poor man's Yao Ming. They both do knee bend exercises at the during a 2 free shot violation.

Yet, people on here were crucifying Yao, even with his standard 20-10...

Hibbert can't even average half of Yao's number.

What kind of a deferential insult is that.. heat fans shld not be gloating about getting to the finals against teams that would have lost to the mavs in a 7 game series. Win or nothing are the rules of collusion. If you want to ride a bandwagon take accountability for it. That's the first thing people who actually play the game learn.

I really think Stephenson's antic's helped the Heat fire up for this series and the Pacer's lose some focus.

I don't mind players doing what he's doing/saying on/off the court...but when your only 23 and you're going up against a team full of veteran's and champions....those antics are always going to back fire.

I like Lance as a player, he is great..I think he will be a great player in the future and his attitude (IF he can control it and be smarter on his approach), he is going to be handful for any opponents. I just felt it had a negative impact against a more experienced and 2 time world champion team

It is important that one's tactics/antics fit the team concept. Pacer players and organization members were clearly displeased with Stephenson's behavior. But he persisted to peruse his own agenda of "stepping up to James".

Between Bird and George's comments, let alone the way teammates were looking at him on the bench, you could tell Stephenson cost his team more than he gained them.

As a fan, love what Lance did out there. As a GM, he probably scared a few away (dare I say Larry himself) and maybe cost himself some money.

A part of Stephenson's problem is that he plays on the team that employed Ron Artest and Stephen Jackson. The Pacers front office have to be wary of the kind of PR issues that they spent years trying to recover from.
