The Lakers did it in the 80's, when they went to 8 Finals in a West that was arguably weaker than the East is now. That's why I laugh when I read folks bashing the East to discredit what Miami is doing. In the grand scheme most don't care. Do you ever hear anyone diss Magic for it?

Bird also went to 4 straight in the 80's.

Whatever it is, I hope people really learn how to rate players better. I like what I see in bigs that have a "good motor" and can move despite skill set. We hear that term alot and when a guy is 6'9" or taller and has that "good motor" it's something to look out for because it really does change the landscape.

I applaud Pacertom for having the balls to defend his team. Not like the d*** sucking going on between Portland and the Spurs.

God forbid PacersTom supports his team! (Hey, more than Heat "fans" can say right?)

Not as if he hides after losses and doesn't show up. Hey look, there he is!

Especially rich from Rockets fans; where the Rockets can't even get out of the ****ing first round! And you're giving PacerTom/the Pacers **** for losing to Miami(4 straight Finals appearances; back to back champs; possible back to back to back champs). LOL That's rich!

But hey, at least the Rockets had a "coin flip" series with Portland!

Way to bag on your own team just to win an argument.
Are we really talking about Rockets fans here?
I know you hate the Heat, but come on man. At the end of the day we're all Rockets fans. Except for pacertom that is.

The Pacers lost their poise. They can really use a veteran leader and tough guy to keep them focused. A David West type player would do wonders for them.

I will give him credit for showing up after the losses, but there's a fine line between supporting your team and unnecessary false arrogance (much like the entire Pacers roster/coach).

    81-82: 48 win 2nd place team
82-83: 53 win 2nd place team, 1 losing team in playoffs
83-84: 45 win 2nd place team, 2 losing teams in playoffs
84-85: 52 win 2nd place team, 1 losing team in playoffs
85-86: 51 win 2nd place team, 2 losing team in playoffs
86-87: 55 win 2nd place team, 2 losing team in playoffs
87-88: 54 win 2nd place team, 1 losing team in playoffs
    88-89: 53 win 2nd place team, 1 losing team in playoffs (55 win Suns - 3rd place)

Then, the West got tough with arguably six superpower teams:
Houston, Utah, Seattle, LA Lakers, Portland, and Phoenix...

That's the thing about a guy like Roy Hibbert. I don't want to talk about race but in some instances people do look at a big's skin color without considering everything else. This dude is akward with very narrow shoulders to begin with. I don't think he's ever been as good as a guy like Asik can be defensively yet got a big fat payday... I would not give up Asik for Hibbert ever nor if we had a guy like Mason Plumlee, Steven Adams, etc. etc... Hibbert was over paid in the oddest sense....

I don't want to be controversial but it has to be brought up.

Arrogant... see, that's funny coming from a fan of the team that's been running their mouths all damn season. Just like Brooklyn - they wanted some, they got some.

Anyways, I'm out for the night. Good series/season.

    Cheer for the Spurs.
    **** the Thunder.
You can hate Miami too because honestly between the Spurs and Heat I don't care who wins. As long as it ain't the Thunder.

Hibbert has to be the least athletic Jamaican in Jamaican history. Usain Bolt is ashamed of Hibbert.

Hibbert's dimensions remind me of Mengke Bateer. Shorter legs, very long torsoe, and puts in a very good effort most of the time but doesn't have the tools for lateral or vertical quickness of any kind. Good luck with your overpaid Mengke Bateer Indiana... Good luck moving him....
