yes because the heat didnt compensate for his scoring by the means of Rashard Lewis, Ray Allen, and Wade making tons of 3's

plz stop posting and actually watch the games

I expect that Lebron will go back to scoring 25 ppg,
and Rashard Lewis will go back to scoring zero ppg,

and that will precisely match what they put up in game 5!

No the question is did you watch the game? Lebron was playing timid for at least half the minutes he played due to not wanting the next foul. You're telling me if Lebron wasn't in foul trouble the Pacers would of still won. GTFO....

If points per game define why Lebron is the best player in the game.

funny how did the pacers win game 1 then? i mean lelayup played without foul trouble. By your r****ded logic the heat should NEVER lose as long as he isnt in foul trouble.

Other players stepped up and the heat lost...heat/lelayup fans are the worst i swear

I really don't know why you're taking things so personally. Nobody is saying heat would never lose with Lebron in foul trouble. Nothing in the NBA can be stated in such absolutes.

But most impartial, informed observers would agree that this should be somewhere around a 4-1 series given the levels of the two teams. Heat are clearly the better team, but pacers will probably win a game, give or take, just given how they constructed their roster and the general randomness of any single NBA game. That's where this series was headed, but then refs decided to call a series of blatantly egregious fouls and allowed the Pacers to squeak by.

If you're using the fact that Pacers allowed the so-old-he-should-be-retired Rashard Lewis to score a bunch of points to imply that Heat weren't hurt by Lebron's foul trouble, then I don't know what to say.

    -not based upon matchups
-not based upon history of the two teams playing each other
-not based upon regular season records
-not based upon how much PG and Lance have improved in the last year, wile the Heat stood pat and got older and less deep
-not based on anything, really, other than HYPE

Based on how the Pacers have been playing this calendar year. Which includes the second half of the regular season and the playoffs. I think we can all agree that a) it is a large enough sample size and b) it is the most relevant sample size as it is the most recent. Think about what happened in the first two rounds of the playoffs, with the pacers playing arguably much easier opponents.

Everything you listed above is less relevant.

brah im not taking anything personal just hate that being an excuse. Paul George has been in foul trouble for games as well and anytime he isnt on the court affects the pacers to the same degree as LBJ no being on the court.

Heat are probably still winning the series and even though they arent as good as the previous years are a better team than the pacers. I just dont understand why people make excuses and its always something the heat didnt do right rather than what the pacers did right. Its just a loss deal with it.

I am going with the least likely outcome: Pacers win game six, take series to seven. They are so erratic and unpredictable, a win is entirely possible. They are a really goofy team; their talent often exceeds their performance.

I wonder why probably helped that he was fresher because he didn't have to guard Bron all game.

With that said the refs called some terrible foul calls on George in Game 3 so even I guess.

Nobody expected Lebron to be in foul trouble, just like nobody expected Lewis to hit 6 3pt shots.

The fact is, LeBron and Floppy Wade get superstar treatment most of the time. Those who whine about the refs in Game 5 should know better.

Today the Vegas line moved 2 points for the Heat following the announcement of the referee crew:

    Scott Foster
    Mike Callahan
    Jason Phillips

Pacers are too goofy to just go quietly into the night. I expect a dog fight….game seven.
