Its been really cool seeing Springer get his own segmentsnon Sportscenter lately. Astros on the come up.
The fact that the Astros now finally have some players worth caring about as a fan, it's actually interesting to follow the stat geek side of baseball that I used to love. Before the days when everything pointed to all Astros suck. So it's quite interesting to read about George Springer. Here are two articles regarding him from Fangrahs. One from before the season regarding questions of his chances of success in the majors. One just a couple of days before taking stock of his early success. And it's quite fascinating how Springer is a fairly unique player. Guy is special, so great to see him put it all together. The league will adjust to his tendencies, will be fun to watch him adjust as well.
Well I was going to say something about George, but that right there says it all ! WOW and then he hits another 2 run homer tonight. I can't even remember when I WANTED to see the Astros just play baseball. I sure do right now.
I got over the whole I have an effect on the game thing... i used to think it was bad luck to wear my Texans jersey and i didnt wear it at all last year and we still lost 14 straight!
