Not me. **** that ****. That's a whole other mouth to have to feed, and honestly I'm still in that stage of life that doesn't want to be dealing with kids just yet. And I'm not talking about hitting it and quitting it, I'm talking about a relationship. If I liked a girl but she has a kid I'd walk away. How about you?
Also I forgot - The kid's father is still going to be in the picture one way or another. That's just the way it is. I don't wanna deal with that!
Depends. Is the kid of legal age, a female, and willing? If so, poll needs a "Hell to the yes" option.
Swoly... a relationship isn't a charity... I certainly hope that's not how you came to be married with kids... A relationship is about mutual happiness... If one party isn't happy, it's no longer mutual... and they have every right to desire to end a relationship for that reason alone... htwnbandit is being responsible, not selfish... Do you want another reluctant, resentful "parent" raising a child poorly just so they can be deemed "unselfish" by outside society, or do you want a child being raised by a loving, competent parent whose number one interest is raising that child right...? If it's not his child, and he doesn't love that person enough, or feel ready to be a parent, he has every right to want nothing to do with her child... I, personally, would NOT date a woman who has a child... as I currently have zero desire to have a family... the interest simply isn't there... and, if I, or anyone in that situation were to try to pretend otherwise, it would be to the detriment of not only her life, but more importantly, her child's...
If you are under 30 don't do it, but it will come a time after that where it will be next to impossible to meet a woman you want to deal with who doesn't have a kid.
