You're welcome. Yeah it's a rare thing these days isn't it? I bought Punch Out for the Wii (not the original punch out, though I have that too) and I've played the awesomeness a few times. Lots of fun.

You know what's great about Punch Out is it had some of the most stereo-typed(bordeline racist) characters and as a child playing it I had no idea but was just enjoying the hell out of it, lol

I purchased NA:Iron Triangle and never opened it. Downloaded on psn because I want to keep my new copy sealed. It's similar, but very different. It focuses on building your technology and your food resources get heavily drained when you move troops or are in a battle.

You don't get to micro-manage your fights, you can put up to three officers in a group and they'll auto battle. There's a lot of micro managing the cities if you want to win. I delegated all my cities but the one I'm in and the cpu does a horrible job. I think it's a mix of civilization and rotk. If you want to win, you have to develop your technology to increase your different troops dmg, base defense, agriculture etc. I didn't focus on techs or building cities and I'm stuck against Takada.

He has the same amount of cities/ports as me (11), but he has a lot more troops and they're better stationed. My cpu will have a lot of troops in one area and very little against the cities where he has a lot. Alliances are pretty important if you want to expand your territory so you don't get back stabbed while trying to take over a castle.

I think overall this game is a lot more strategic. In rotk, I'll get some troops, train them and start fighting. Build up the cities to give me enough support in food/gold and continue to attack other cities then delegate them after I win.

Have you seen the video of that guy playing Punch Out blindfolded? He gets all the way up to Mike Tyson without losing a match. Mike bodies him blindfolded of course but with the blind fold off he kills him.

I was only able to beat Tyson once! And it was when I was in college and playing on an emulator on my roommates computer, lol

Hmmm... interesting, thanks for the info. Is there any component of being a lower-level officer and working your way up the ranks, like there is in RoTK? Or are you always a ruler? One of my favorite things in RoTK was working your way up from officer to like a warlord and such. Heck, even talking about it makes me want to go start a new game...

To quote one of the YouTube commenters: "I need new pants... and a PS4."

I still don't have any next-gen system, but I know I'll be getting a PS4, this just further cemented it. The critical mass of games I actually want for it continues to slowly rise...

I also really wish they'd bring the King's Field games to the PS Store. They're all downloadable PS Store games in Japan, but not here. But I agree that I'd love to see RotTK games be downloadable, particularly the tenth installment.

Now that Beast Souls is 100% confirmed real.

Just waiting for that PS4 Exclusive confirmation now. Then Sony will have my money again, not that there were any doubts in the first place.

Didn't see that, and I'm ashamed to say I've never beaten Tyson. I always start the game over, I should use codes to get up to later fights and beat it one of these days. It's just so fun to beat the hell out of Glass Joe for the thousandth time.

It's some what long but I'd say worth a watch if you're a fan of the game.

And no shame in not beating him. Tyson is arguably one of the hardest boss fights in video game history. Hell it's a pain in the ass just trying to get past Sandman, much less Super Macho Man, and THEN Tyson

I got to watch my wife play a bit at gamestop a couple weeks ago, it looks very fun (she was instantly hooked). The one thing I don't like right now is it seems pretty obvious they just did a palette swap on a lot of the characters (all the female characters look the same, lots of koopa kids, metal mario/peach, etc). Other than that it looks great. Who am I kidding anyway? I'm playing as Yoshi all day.

Went to pick up MK8 at my local Target and they ran out of the wheel. Drove another ten minutes to a different Target and they kept my $1 pre-order card. Oh wait..Target calls it a reservation card. You basically pay $1 to reserve a game and get a $5 Target gift card, which is actually $4 because they keep that $1. Didn't argue with the cashier, but thought it was a weird way to do business. Never pre-ordered/reserved something and not have it credit towards the purchase.

The wheel Target gives out isn't an official Nintendo one. It's some knock off with marios face on it. On my receipt, it says that it's returnable for $9.

Any MK8/Wii U bundles out there with the red wheel? Who's selling those?
