Did the Spurs' form peak a couple of weeks too early in the playoffs?

 

Notice the NBA never fines the big stars like CP3,LeBron,Fisher,Durant or Wade.

 

But it helps if you have these 3 things going for you:

1) You're a total ball hog.

2) You have KD on your team attracting two defenders most of the time, leaving you open to shoot and your other teammates wide open to make shots if you get the ball to them on those occasions when you draw the double team yourself.

Or that he incorporated how to be a shooting guard and a point guard...This Westbrook is impossible to stop. He got to the line, got his teammates rhythm shots, and found a way to destroy San Antonio at the rim. This may never be replicated again in this series, but Westbrook had a terrific game. They dont have a guard that can stay in front of Westbrook; and KD wasnt having to deal with two defenders during this game. The Spurs dont double a lot...Im not sure what you mean...got to give a guy props after having a great game. Im sure he will revert back to his chucker self, but this Westbrook is what the Thunder need...If Lebron dropped 40 and 10 dimes 2night, it wouldve been the talk of the NBA...so stop the hate...and just appreciate.

 

Obviously, tonight is likely the deciding game of the series. The Spurs aren't going to lose tonight at home and then go to OKC and win. Not going to happen. I am sure they know that.

 

That is somewhat surprising. I was expecting Ginobli to start.

Pop seems to only call timeouts when his players do something wrong. The run by OKC? that's ok, leaving Durant open at the 3 point line? timeout, I kind of like that method, it just accepts that hitting shots and missing shots is random, but doing the wrong thing isn't.

 

That speed, holy ****

 

Spurs just look like they're fighting to keep up. OKC has too much speed.

 

Reggie Jackson is something else. That's the kind of production you'd expect from the backup guard

 

Westbrook looks like MVP Derrick Rose.
