Checkers burgers. It seems like they had quite a few of them in the Houston area in the mid to late 90s. They still have them in Lousiana, have them everytime I go gambling

Heck yea! At some point in the later 90's they would have outdoor rave parties there. When I first moved here in 80 it was some kind of ski mnt. range. How about Games People Play on Beechnut close to the HBU campus. And Two Pesos! Mucho better than that other place we ended up with!

I am prone to nostalgia as a middle aged person, so this thread is all about me! Two Pesos was my go to coming-down-at-4am restaurant of choice. The Gulfgate picture kills me...I miss those days.

I came here to post this. I found so much incredible music in that place. Bruce did a great job with RR, he had some BIGTIME bands/artists do in stores. Ministry, Morrissey, Depeche Mode to name a few. I miss those days.

Anyone mention Todai at the Marquee yet? That place used to be so good when the gauchos used to bring you the meat. Why did they change it up so much which ended up leading to its demise?

Was at their last show to see Rancid the night it burned down. Got home and turned on the TV to see it all over the news.

Cool story tho, a friend and I got in the show for free because we were there early and they thought we were with the band.

yes sir...my family knew the chef very well.

took a high school dance date there and came off like i was an OG. And I only know that OG is a good thing because I have a 14 year old son now.
