I believe SLI at the moment hurts your performance. Try turning it off until the next driver update.

I'm running sli 570 GTX SC's.....game seems to be running alright.

But I have some missing / corrupt files, causing missing textures and falling through the map.

Been playing it alot and I absolutely love the game. Most fun I've had just screwing around in an open world since San Andreas

Not sure how to fix my textures issue. What little info I found online, it seems some servers were putting out corrupted files.

I click on verify files, and it finds some corrupt ones and "fixes" them. But everytime I click on it it keeps finding them, and nothing is fixed in game.

I'm loving this game so far. I'm really not sure what I'm doing yet so I'm just running around hacking, detecting crimes and then a great Chicago punk band, The Vindictives, start playing. Shortly later Screeching Weasel's My Brain Hurts comes on...awesome

That's the specs I have essentially and I wouldn't hesitate to get any PC game really. With that said, I bought this game for PS4. I'd definitely be weary of the reported issues, but it's a lot cheaper on PC as well.

Fixed my texture issues, uninstalled and re downloaded the game / installed it.

Runs alright, the periodic lag spikes (random) are pretty annoying.

Vehicle controls feel right out of Sleeping Dogs ....and Mafia II.

I bought mine from direct2play. I paid $39 for it on Monday.

I've bought numerous games from that site.

Some sites like D2P, buy keys when they are highly discounted via steam sales etc.

As for their new games, not entirely sure. It's probably based in Russia or something.

Basically, what you purchase, you have a "my account" section on the site where you're receipt will be and the product key will be, and they'll also email you a scanned copy of the key.

That's where I've purchased BF4, Sim City, and now Watch Dogs.

Got out of my car to check in at a landmark. Turn around to see an online player driving off in my car. Luckily they had trouble getting away and I was able to shoot them in the head. Really cool moment though! :-D

Hahaha. That's hilarious. I haven't had anyone enter my game yet, I might turn that feature off though seems like it would be more annoying than anything.

I saw that there is no car customization, but are there at least garages to store cars? And how many safehouses do you get in the game?

I jammed a Firetruck at the back entrance of that bar connected to the stadium in the beginning and started a five star shootout with cops. It was too easy when cops aren't able to flank you lol.

I went from full blue reputation bar to full red reputation bar in like 10 minutes LOL.

It was really cool. It took me a second to realise what was going on. I was becoming a victim!

I can understand why people would turn it off, but I have to saw it keeps you on your toes. I just adds a little extra element to the game, you're not just playing the game but you have real people coming in to hack you or steal something from you. You start waiting to someone to come after you and it's probably something I think more games will start to do because it works so well.

just searching around after googling D2P...seems kind of shady. someone on the steam forums mentioned that they go and take pics of cd keys and those are the one they sell...another replied they tried playing a game through steam they bought from there and were banned or something.
