His last 17 games he is hitting .303 with a .395 on base and .682 slugging The Astros are 9-8 in those 17 games One player can certainly make a difference. At some point, hopefully Singleton can make a similar impact.
Really excited for the young man. Wish i could see the games on local tv like I have since 1977. Maybe some day....
Looks like the Astros might have a "Big Three" to build around with Springer, Altuve, and Keuchel. About time!
it's impossible to find one link. lucky for us, baseball is one of the few sports, if not the only one, that is just as enjoyable on the radio.
I'm very glad to have hin on my Fantasy Baseball Keeper league. Sucked early but now I reaping the rewards.
Fascinating article on Springer and his strikeouts, not sure if posted. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/george-springer-and-maximizing-contact/ One point in particular I never thought of
WHat's the ceiling of George Springer? Could he be Mike Trout 2.0? I see Springer putting up Beltran (in his prime) like numbers. He reminds me of him alot.
Yeah, this guy might be on the All-Star team this year. Trying not to jinx him, but he's the real deal. Springer, Altuve, Keuchel on the All-Star team?
George Springer starting to look like a superstar. The dude has totally elevated this club's play by himself lately.
Let's not get too ahead of ourselves. Trout is one of the best players in the league, and is also 2 years younger than Springer. It is kind of unrealistic to expect Trout 2.0. If he is as good as Trout, I'd be ecstatic.
