So it is possible to play good defense while scoring 40 points or otherwise carrying a high offensive burden.

Will Popovich make adjustments and hold the Spurs accountable before game 5?

Remember in the Finals 2 years ago WB had nothing left after his game 4 explosion.

When WB plays like this, he's on that super duper level. *******.

Who else is tired of these "The only other person in the last 32-1/3 years to have achieved the stat line of at least 23.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 8.9 assists and 4.8 steals in all odd numbered games in the second round of playoff played in an even numbered year was Michael Jordan" factoids? You'd think more than a decade after his retirement, people would stop looking for "the next MJ" or "be like Mike".

The stat was 40 points, 10 assists, and 5 steals in a playoff game. Not exactly obscure.

This is turning out to be a crazy series. All 4 games have been blowouts. I'll stick with Spurs in 7.

He's the ultimate measuring stick, though. Plus, it's only logical to use a guard as a comparison to Westbrook. If Adams had consistent monster games, he'd be compared to great big men of the past, etc.

Not only did he account for 40 points...his ten assists means he had a part in generating an additional 20-30 points of offense...that actually is pretty damn good. That was Westbrook's best game in the postseason(perhaps ever).

Watching this playoff run for OKC, it's very debatable who's the MVP on that team. They essentially have 2 MVPs on that team. Ridiculous.

Durant and Serge? (the last 2 games have been a testament to how valuable Serge is)

Serge is underrated to the public. He makes that defense period.

But MVP requires the overall package. 27/7/8. He's arguably the best player in the Western conference playoffs this year, with Lebron in the East.

A crazy stat from game 4: WB by himself had more points, assists, steals, and FT attempts than the entire Spurs starting 5. Ridiculous.
