Games People Play on 1960. Had my first make-out session there behind the batting cages with a girl in a bikini back in jr high. Even got boob-squeeze. Came here just to post that. I went to many a birthday party there as a kid. My dad used to take me there on Saturday afternoons. They still sell their po boys in grocery stores, but they're nothing like the ones you would get at the original location.
That's crazy. You mean there is still stuff growing in there? I live right by there. Would be cool if you could snap some photos of it.

Man I remember Venture's lol. I was with my Dad there and we were their millionth shopper to check out. We were buying stuff to go to our deer lease ($500 + worth) and we were in line to check out. The person in front of us forgot something so they let us go ahead of them. The first thing the lady scanned signaled this loud siren and all these lights started going crazy. We were like what the **** is goin on, then this guy runs over with a camera and was like "Congratulations! You are our 1 millionth shopper!). So we got everything for free. The lady behind us was just sitting there with the most disgruntled look on her face lol. I Completely forgot about this place. I hope they do come back
Price Buster Foods (usually in low-income areas) Safeway (bought by Fiesta) Good places to buy groceries. Is that how we got Fitzpatrick? I remember going there. I lived near it for a while... Beechnut and Cook.
Heck yeah! I remember that place. That maze was super cool. The place overall was just one big safety violation which was part of the appeal. They had a water slide that was awesome, and on the other side of that was an area where kids could hammer wood and build things. Of course barefoot children running around with nails scattered from the building area was only one of the great things about Magic Mountain.
This man knows what's up. Anyone remember Pizza Mimo's in Copperfield? Had the best garlic knots I've ever had...

Awesome, for all these years I thought I made the place up in my head! Is Magic Mountain the correct name? I remember that huge slide as well. For some reason though that maze has always stuck with me. I think about it every time I hear a fan. Kinda strange.
I have a ton of memories from this place, there was one above the food court at San Jacinto Mall in Baytown. Def more fun than DZ ever was.
you're awesome. They still have one in Huntsville, where the Tinsley's family was from. We stop there some when we're up that direction. I'll add: Panjo's Pizza (there is one in Rockport) Ruby Red's Don the Beachcomber Po' Folks Hebert's Steakhouse York Steak House
