knee jerk reaction, these teams are just holding serve.

spurs will get back in their groove at home, and it'll be a toss up in game 7.

thunder do have players that can neutralize the heat a bit though, and I think thunder can give heat all they can eat. and we all know Spurs was 10 seconds away from a ship last year

Thunder have the two best players in the series, when they play like the two best players in the series, it's too hard to beat.

...and when the lesser half plays unselfishly.

What Diaw is doing now is trash. One of the things I despise about him is he could have been an all-NBA type of player if he brought it every night and really cared about basketball.

Why wait until your team trails by 25 point before you start playing hard?

If this sequence alone doesn't convince you that Pop is the best coach of all time, I don't know what will

What was that Finals game when Phil Jackson left in his reserves like Bobby Hansen and the reserves won it for the Bulls? Was that 1992 against Portland?

OK, it was 4 reserves and Pippen.

Portland Trail Blazers 93, Chicago Bulls 97
    Scoring by quarter: 25–19, 25–25, 29–20, 14–33
    Pts: Drexler, Kersey 24 each
    Rebs: Jerome Kersey 9
Asts: Terry Porter 8 Pts: Michael Jordan 33
    Rebs: Scott Williams 8
    Asts: Horace Grant 5
    Chicago wins the series, 4–2
    Chicago Stadium, Chicago, Illinois
    Attendance: 18,676
    Referees:

    No. 25 Hugh Evans
    No. 4 Ed T. Rush
    No. 13 Mike Mathis

Portland started strongly as they held Michael Jordan scoreless for the game's first 11 minutes, and would take a 43-28 lead midway through the second quarter before Chicago went on a 16-7 run and cut the deficit to only six points. Portland also dominated the third quarter, building a 79-64 lead. Phil Jackson would go with four reserves and Scottie Pippen to start the fourth quarter, cutting Portland's lead to three after only three minutes. Jordan returned and had two steals and converted them to hoops to give Chicago a permanent lead. The Bulls' defense would hold Portland to only six points in the final four minutes, leading the Bulls to their second straight championship.

I have to say...that I really did expect this series to be tied...Westbrook and Durant were due for a good scoring game. Tonight was it...This is why you make sure to protect homecourt...the Spurs did their job in game 1 and 2. The return of Ibaka has tremendously helped the Thunder...We shall see...game 5 is gonna be a dog fight..

^Pretty impressive, but you have to factor in that it was only a 15 pt lead in the 3rd and PJax went with Pippen.

But of course, results don't lie, I appreciate the history lesson.

spurs actually see a defense (with ibaka back) this playoffs and their unstoppable offense starts to look stoppable?
