Yes or No. I'm on the fence. I know Love is a great player and having him join Dwight and James would be incredible, but is any of you willing to give up Parsons in this deal? Parsons still has upside, fits this team well and is super hot. In all seriousness, would you be willing to part with Parsons in any deal that will get us Love mandatory pic
Yeah. If they can sign Ariza, I think they'd be golden. I think Ariza's play this year has made it impossible to sign him for the MLE amount though.
Yes. We get weaker at the three, but you have to do it. Much more difficult to land a star/superstar than it is a role player. I do like the Ariza suggestions if you land K. Love.
Have I already explored if Melo or Lowry want to come here as free agents? Have I determined what it would take to trade for Paul Milsap?
I like Parsons, but he is in denial about being better than Batum. Love for Parsons in a package deal, is a no brainer for me.
Yes but you might not have to. More than likely, the Wolves are going to hold onto Love until the trade deadline because..... well.... why not? -They have the opportunity to give him a max extension in January -More than likely the offers will not be that much different from each suitor -They have a chance to get off to a "Blazers 2013 type" of start & you never know. Come February of 2015(if all of that fails for the Wolves), leverage will come into play even more than this 2014 Summer because it will be much clearer on which team has the capability to give Kevin Love the max contract he deserves in free agency that Summer. I fully expect (if the Rockets dont make any other moves first) to preserve their 2015 cap space. If their trade offer can compete with other true 2015 free agency destinations, I would fully expect that they have as much of a chance as anyone at making a fair trade to the Wolves in February, or if they dont trade him then, making him an offer in free agency that following Summer of 2015 when they are set to have major cap space. -As of this Summer going into a draft night trade, a team like Sacramento, Boston, and even LA will potentially have a package to offer the Wolves that can blow the Rockets offer out the window if they choose to offer all of their assets EVEN with Parsons being offered. If you like Parsons, and want Kevin Love as well.... my suggestion would be to root for the Wolves sticking to their plan to take this thing into the February trade deadline where the Rockets not only have a better shot at creating leverage for Love's free agency, but also might even be able to save Parsons in the process as well.
Big family problem! One Yes vote from me! But my wife threaten not to follow the Rockets if they trade Parsons!
Yup....Howard ain't getting younger. With Howard, Harden and Love we have a 5 year window to win 3-4 titles.
