Sidonia no kishi is surprinsingly good imo, thought the animation is kinda of odd (kingdom similar) but ive enjoyed it so far. There's been few good sports anime this season ace no diamond, baby steps, and Haikyuu. Hunter X Hunter last episodes just been awesome.
Omg Midosuji caught up!! I honestly thought it was going to finish as kinjou vs fukutomi. Harder to predict with midosuji joining the picture.
So Nisekoi took it farther than I thought.. I figured they would leave it on the cliffhanger from the beach story, but going through to the festival wasn't bad. I'm still watching Ace of Diamond, Baby Steps, Haikyuu! and Yowapeda faithfully, but other than that Nisekoi and One Week Friends were the only ones I have been keeping up with. I'm a bit behind on the rest. What is everyone else still watching?
Need to watch the actual play. Raku pissed me off saying all that crap about chitoge (even if they were true). At least he's redeemed himself. You think they'll get to show onoderas sister and tsumugis frienemy this season or is that ending just a tease? All that you've listed plus: no game no life, Hunter x Hunter, chaika coffin princess, black bullet, la corda blue sky, tonari no seki-kun. I too am behind :\ will be trying to catch up before the game tomorrow though.
Some great shows are out this season. Watching Fairy Tail, Irregular at Magic School, Nisekoi, Black Bullet, and Brynhildr in the Darkness. I definitely need to check out No Game no life. I would recommend all of them. Brynhildr is underrated.
Yes there is. I need to get caught up on brynhildr, only on episode 2 lol. Wtf, I'm pretty angry right now that nisekoi was only 20 episodes long.... Who knows how long until we get a season 2.. Hayesfan, how close is the show to the Manga at this point? Are they even close to having enough content for another 20 by the end of the year?
The new anime I like this season is No game No life, Black Bullet, Sidonia and JoJo. There are a few that are okay, but wouldn't recommend.
Nisekoi is the type of anime that is just as good as a manga. I've just been reading that and watching the show whenever there's a new episode. Manga is up to 123 right now. The show is up to 45-46.
If people look past the fanservice (and there is a lot) they'll understand how awesome it is. Loved some of the references like Phoenix Wright which is one of my favorite games. What's up with that? Plenty of chapters still to adapt. I will wait no longer than one year for another season. Don't ruin it for me like pet girl of sakurasou (insert still waiting skeleton picture)
Haven't posted here in a while due to not getting to watch much anime recently because of work, but just have to say GOOD GOD THE LATEST EPISODE OF HUNTERXHUNTER WAS INCREDIBLE!!! Gon vs Pitou >>>>> Netero vs The King. If you go back about a year in this thread to when the new episodes were still airing you'll fin a TON on good convo about the series. Pretty much universally loved.
2 years...??? According AstroRocket this anime is already a year old.... 2 more years is simply too long a wait after that season 1 finale.... good lord...
After just one year the Anime caught up to the Manga. They have to write more material. You could tell they were starting to stretch it too. After a blistering first half, that second have was entering DBZ level stalling.
Incredible... I was just about to ask if anyone knew where I could get the written source material for this to find the answers to all the questions spurred by the revelations in the season 1 finale... I can't remember the last time I've been so infuriated with an antagonist in an anime.... Now, she's incased in seemingly indestructible crystal along with her secrets, and there are others like her.... and I have to wait here and simmer in my combined ire and eager curiosity for two years...?? Gadzooks.... How could they plan this so poorly...? Couldn't they have waited before there was more to the source material before taking it to animation...? I rarely follow anime's when they debut... so, I don't know if there's precedence for this.... Did DBZ or any other anime face such a long waiting period between seasons due to insufficient source material...?
If you read the manga, you will find some of the answers you seek. I believe if you are a subscriber to Crunchyroll you can read an English translation of the manga for free. If not there are other more "unauthorized" sites to read. The manga only comes out once per month but in my opinion, they are close to having enough for another season.
