    Disagree.

He still has to deliver the material, which he is very gifted at. And his interviews are always humorous....just a funny dude overall.

Yep. I am curious what the actual viewership numbers look like next to Letterman and Kimmel.

I thought it was bold of NBC to tell the guests if they come on his show, they cant hit the rest of the late night circuit. Seemed at the time they were cutting off their noses to spite their faces, but it looks as though it will not affect guest star-quality one bit.

He had to deliver the drumm-off? That was 95% Will and the other dude. I bet most of that was Ferrel's idea.

Maybe on other things he writes and delivers on his own. He is not a good actor.

    I couldn't stand fallon on SNL .

But I've got to give him credit, I don't watch his show because TV generally bores me, but the videos of his show I watch online have been great.

^ He takes someone else's idea and just puts it where more people will watch them. Prime example: the "Brian Williams raps" videos someone else did before him with other celebs and President Obama.
Don't know what "agruments" could mean. :(

yep absolutely no way...the whole purpose of the late night shows is for movie stars/celebs to promote movies and tv shows. no way tv execs, movie companies, etc don't allow them to hit up all the late shows. more pub the better.

i think i mentioned this in another late show year ago or so...but i think fallon is really hitting on what works...that is these rap battles/games/segments that are great for viewing online.

thats where i see all his stuff at least. i can't really speak to his interviewing because i haven't seen much of that...but from the little i saw he seems to be pretty bland. softball type questions and wants everyone to be his friend.

thats what i'll miss about letterman. he doesn't care and will just hammer people. for instance the paris hilton interview...dave just lays into her about how dumb she is. it was hilarious.

i heard alec baldwin say somewhere once that letterman loves the back and forth. that he often tells guests that he wants them to lay into him as well.

we'll see where colbert goes with it...with him dropping his character who knows how it will play out.
