I disagree. Minnesota would do right to trade for Thompson because he's a RFA... They can give him the biggest contract. Same with Harrison Barnes. Like I previously said _ free agents aren't flocking to play in Minnesota at least not any good ones. The Rockets were in a worst situation and had to trade for a guy who was coming off the bench and pay him a max contract before he ever played a game in a Rockets uniform as a starter. Thompson, Barnes, and Lee makes for a quick rebuilding process for Minnesota with what they already have (Minnesota already have a decent front court, don't really need Lee). And Golden State was willing to trade Thompson and Barnes for Harden so I'm pretty sure they would do the same for Love. I believe Minnesota would take Thompson and Barnes over Boston's draft picks (it's not like they have the #1 pick). And does Love want to go to Boston...??? He's already on a team with one point guard that can't shoot. I don't see why he'd commit to Boston and Minnesota can't just trade him anywhere.
He's not, but I doubt LeBron leaves before his age/health becomes a serious issue. Wade has played really well so far in the playoffs so I don't see LeBron leaving because of Wade (at least not yet).
If Lebron leaves Miami, he's going back to Cleveland. Storywise, that's a brilliant move, as in "the prodigal son comes home."
seems your jimmies are rustled KD is younger and youd have to be biased as well not to take him over lelayup at this point yes
Cyberx have you heard anything about our PG situation? Are they okay with Bev/Lin or are they looking for an upgrade?
If the concern is about Dwight getting touches and adding a 3rd star Rondo seems like the obvious target here...he's the one "available" star that can get the ball in Dwight's hands.
That's certainly the Hollywood movie ending but I don't think that it works for Lebron. He's approaching 30 and it's all about winning titles for him. Regardless of who Cleveland picks (Wiggins or Embiid) they're simply too young and inexperienced to win right now...even with LBJ. I don't believe Lebron is willing to give up 1 or 2 chances at a ring to wait for those guys to mature.
Why would Minnesota want to give Thompson a big contract? Thompson has a .51 TS% (42% shooting) without Curry on the floor. Can't rebound, can't pass, crappy handles, mediocre defense.
Yea its not real clear why people seem to think Klay is a better player than Parsons. Statistically, Parsons blows him out of the water.
If true, then I question Howard's attitude. He came here to win championships, and after feeding him the ball continuously against Portland, we got upset and bounced in the first round. Kevin Love can put this team over the top. We are poised for another first round exit again if teams like LA, Golden State, San Antonio, Memphis, OKC and Portland hold to form. We aren't a contender as is. We are with Love. Team first mentality. Something our two "superstars" seem to be lacking.
^^^ described Parsons to a T dudes head isnt in the game sometimes and is in love with trying to be famous
