Im pretty sure Lebron is focused on beating the Pacers right now and increasing his placement in the history of NBA greats by three-peating. I think its way too premature to even talk about Lebron. Unless you just love to dream. I'm sure Morey's plan A. right now is focusing on finding the best deals possible for Lin & Asik so they will at least have the ability to acquire one of these guys (whether that be Lebron, Durant, Love, Melo, or whoever comes available first... which I'm sure he will trade for or try to sign whoever comes available first). If he strikes out, or nobody comes available than he's still going to focus on getting the best deal possible to at the very least sign or trade for a guy on the next level down.
Also, dont forget that the T-Wolves dont HAVE TO trade Love until the February deadline. The T-Wolves still have one more run & contract extension offer to give Love by January 1st. Morey is probably going to want to get something done by training camp at the latest. Name one Kevin Love trade scenario that is going to have extremely higher value now vs. the Feb deadline? Only offers would be with the Cav's at #1, Celtics at #6, and Lakers at #7. Even then, its not like all of those teams wouldn't potentially put those rookie prospects in a deal for Love at the deadline anyways.... except MAYBE the Cavs with the #1 pick if that player really does turn out to be a franchise changer.
This is hilarious. Yet the majority of people here are still gobbling it up, which reflects a lot more poorly on them I suppose.
No direct plan - if the opportunity presents itself, they are not opposed. But to say they are going to be aggressively shopping? I wouldnt say that.
The best player in the league joining your favorite team would make you stop being a fan? There's some really wierd people on this site...
Thanks for the infor cyber and sorry if this has been asked I'm not in here often. 1: Is Lowry a lock to go back to Toronto(if the moneys right) because it seems like it and 2: Are Houston and Chicago being at the top of melo's list what you've heard also
Cyberx, Can you give some insight in Rondo? How interested are the Rockets? Do they think he would "fit"? I'd also be interested to know what Dwight and the front office think of Brandon Bass and Jeff Green, as its very possible either/both would be included in a trade with Rondo.
I can't really think of a reason that he would (they'll probably win it all again this year) unless Bosh were to bail for a bigger contract.
ive never liked him so it wouldnt change just because he's a rocket would rather wait till KD is a FA
I'd be shocked if he came here, but I wouldn't be surprised if he bailed if they don't get him some real help.
Oh, I see... It's because you don't like him. And you'd rather wait on KD. Gotcha... Spoiler GTFO Spoiler No seriousely, GTFO.
Agree. It wouldn't be fun if the season would be a complete nightmare even if you made it to the championship. The underdog role is much more fun to be in.
