Collecting on a judgement

    I was recently awarded a judgement against my former employer. It's a pretty large amount of money, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience in collecting a judgement.

    My dad has some experience. He never got paid and probably never will.

    A person with peanuts for income. Trial was in a small city in Texas. Judge is/has been on my dad's side but there's just not much that can be done. Maybe if they win the lotto or something...

    This is usually the case against individuals. People that have judgements against them more than likely have even more judgements against them and are in financial ruin.

    Nah...that was a customer. I counter sued my ex-employer for a frivolous lawsuit and won.
