I can't stand Lance Stephanson! And I guarantee once he gets paid he won't be the same player!

$12 mil a year for a non all-star is just plain stupid. I wouldn't even pay Parsons that kind of money.

IMO if you are looking at someone "like" Lance that is currently what I would consider an "under-valued" player (trade wise) and comes with a fair contract, I'd say to not sleep on Dion Waiters(if you feel like you NEED that 6th man scorer).

Lance is currently showing off to the world but he's really in the same realm of a guy that is going to have a career in the mold of one of these guys like Jamal Crawford, Sam Cassell, Jon Starks (when 6th man), JR Smith(last year), etc. but with a bigger, more athletic build.

The one thing that Lance has going for him is a much better disposition defensively, but that's not something I can tell if is a product of being on the Pacers, or if its something he's going to keep doing on another team.

Lance is going to get paid this Summer, and its most likely going to be the Pacers who have to pay to keep him because he probably means more to them than to any other team, but someone is going to think that he's the next James Harden who just needs an opportunity, and that opportunity and contract will blow up in their face if Indiana doesn't match.

Yeah those "high-energy" players never play the same after they get paid.

The goal isn't to continue to struggle, especially given the young talent they have and will get from this draft, offering those stupid almost max contracts to non all stars (except Ibaka who deserves it) is basically the end of your career as a GM in this cba, $8m is the high side, 9m probably tops.

Not right now. We don't have Rick Carlisle to mature him. He reminds me of a young Artest. With Mchale this guy chemistry wise will make us worse.

The thing is... Artest was an ELITE defender (defensive player of the year) who could actually score at the same time. I will say they are both crazy.

That's how it goes now. Parsons and Lance have contract years and go stupid try-hard mode. They forgot what made them great was being a strong supplementary player.

He reminds me more of Westbrook.
Too many "WTF ARE YOU DOING" moments watching his game.
Actually Lin has those moments too.
    So does Harden.
    And Parsons.

    Damn it our team sucks.
