Ok. I won't start a new thread. But for general discussion. Would you trade Harden for Love straight up if there was a deal in place to trade Asik and Lin and Parsons for Melo and a bad contract?

Small actress? Meh. We got much bigger actresses and women in general for Love in Houston.

Am hoping he goes to Chicago. I would take Love but I don't see it working out. Chicago or LA.

Which would be better for the Rockets in regards to putting together the Big 3:

    Rondo. Beverly. Beverly
    Harden. Harden. Harden
    Parson. Anthony. ??????
Jones or DMo Jones or DMo. Love
    Howard. Howard. Howard

Keep in mind what our bench would look like. What is the best fit offensively and defensively?

All options come with their advantages and disadvantages.

Which option is most realistic in terms of pulling it off?

    Which would you choose?

What's to be concerned about. I am being perfectly logical. Power forwards should be with bigger ladies and leave the small actresses for point guards.

One thing the "trade Harden" crowd is forgetting about as well is the massive PR hit Dwight will take. I can already read the headlines now... " first Kobe than Harden.... Is there any Superstar that can get along with Dwight???".

Despite Dwight being a model citizen, he's going to get a big hit with the national media guys that love a good Dwight drama.

    The deal: Trade Machine

    Rockets receive: Kevin Love
Wolves receive: Jeremy Lin, Donatas Motiejunas, Chandler Parsons, Jordan Hamilton, first-round picks in 2015 and 2017

This is an incredibly tricky situation because while the Rockets have lots of assets to move, the inclusion of Parsons makes the deal really difficult. The Wolves would need to pick up his team option for next season, but that means he’s an unrestricted free agent in 2015. How likely is it that he will want to stay in Minnesota?

Lin’s contract will cost more than owner Glen Taylor wants to pay for a non-winning team. Motiejunas would be the best prospect in the deal and you’re taking late first-round picks in the future. Can we just forget this deal and ask Hakeem Olajuwon to be an adviser to the Wolves instead?

    Espn posted this.

I would hope that ESPN folks would do enough homework to know that Jordan Hamilton is a free agent.

Golden State looks like they have the best trade package to offer up for Love according to J.R.'s post.

Morey is going to have to do some serious wheeling and dealing to swing a trade to get Love.

Chicago is paying too low, realistically, they'd need to include that Charlotte pick this year and possibly Mirotic rights, and no Minnesota isn't considering Boozer a positive value asset. The Wolves wants picks and really young players (like 1-2 years), Boston has the most to offer, but that scenario doesn't even touch on what it would really need to be, and the Warriors with no picks at all have by far the worst deal in these scenarios.

If I had to rank them, Boston, Phoenix, Chicago, Houston and finally Golden State

These are the trades that teams could do for Love.

The NBA is a star driving league and Golden State only has one star and that's Curry. I really like both Barnes and Thompson. I would try to keep one of them but I would give up both of them (including Lee) if that's the price.

Plus that gives Minnesota control of two good young players and they need that because free agents aren't flocking to play there.

If Golden State is serious about Love _ that's where I think he's headed... Unless Morey can pull something out his #@#. I don't think Parsons is enough.
