    If this is the qualification for Child Protective Services to take kids away, then there are a LOT of families they will be investigating soon considering how kids are now.

    From most reports, both kids are spoiled brats. They may not be criminals but do appear to be douchebags

    They also consider granting their teenage children emancipation and think it's totally normal

    They just seem totally bizarre and out of it most of the time

    Isn't Bieber's mother more traditonal?

    From what i understand the Smiths taught the kids to work for what they get. Considering both kids had financial success with their projects, they probably get a huge allowance and perhaps that's why they seem spoiled. I think they're just extremely confident, and well, teens, so they can come off as jerks sometimes.

    You're OK with your child in bed with an adult? No wonder they're pompous spoiled kids. They can do as they please and think it's right.

    a LOT of families aren't celebrities with their underage kids taking photos in bed with legal age people. :eek: Had any of your or my family had a child appear in a photo like that, we would be under investigation too, fairly and justly so. Don't you think?

    I agree, there is something weird going on in that household (Scientology...?). The boy is one of the rudest little ****s i've ever heard -- he was on Letterman and couldn't have played the role of spoiled smart-ass brat any better. I wanted Letterman to smack him.

    Sounds like an 11 year old boy who went in trying to be funny and then settled down. What's the problem? Being Smith's kid, I'm sure he knows he's got to try and be funny to win the audience over. Plus, Letterman likes to play stupid, so he sets kids up to act like they know a lot. Grown ups usually know he's kidding.


    She wasn't in bed with him, more like on a bed with him.
