Wtf? Is this writer seriously suggesting the Rockets would offer Harden + MORE for Love? Top 5 MVP candidate last year + MORE for a player that has never made the playoffs? The TWolves would ask where they sign asap if the Rockets were to offer a deal like that. Harden > Love contrary to the stupid journalist that wrote this article.
QFT If Harden is on the table it should be a straight Love for Harden trade. No Lin, no Asik, no picks. Morey ain't no dummy.
Excellent post, breh! I talked about this in a previous post, how can we go from Melo/KLove to Deng? Everyone knows Morey wants that third star, all of a sudden Deng is that third star? He's a good player, and would probably fit in nicely here, but that's not what Morey is trying to achieve! You really have to read between the lines, and I'm glad you have your reading glasses on! ....... ....... .......
EXACTLY! who in the plum hell wrote that? You say Harden is on the table and not Parsons? Is he high?? Harden is NOT trade bait...the goal is to get 3 superstar talents. The Timberwolves would trade Love straight up for Harden....it would be a wet dream for them. God, how do these numb nuts get jobs??
Deng wouldn't come here to play 6th man behind Parsons when he will get offers somewhere else to start. (Can't start Deng at the 4)
I don't know if it is possible, but if Rockets can get Deng, Milsap, and Lowry by shipping out Parsons, Lin, and Asik, they will be in a very good shape: Lowry Harden Deng Milsap Howard that's a pretty good starting five.
Harden listed as trade bait???.... hmmmmmm. If Harden is on the table than there is virtually no way Minny passes up that deal unless they decide a #1 is better for them in the long run & opt to trade with Cleveland. If Harden's name gets brought any more in the coming week with any legs behind it (meaning someone like Woj gives a 2nd confirmation) that doesn't mean good thing for the Rockets locker room situation. Harden put this franchise back on the map last year, and currently has a more impressive resume than Love, better injury history, more marketable, is a little younger, and most importantly.... is locked up on a very favorable max deal. I know Harden is currently enemy #1 in Houston right now behind maybe Schaub & McHale, and has a seat next to the devil & Hitler according to the wishy washy CF posters on here who have the memory of a 4 year old, but trading Harden for Love is a wash in talent AT BEST... and I think Kevin Love is great... not just really good. There would have to be much more to the story than this IF TRUE (which I doubt is true).
Amin El Hassan, like me, has seen Harden's true face. This city is afraid of us. You guys can question "Why does ESPN have this guy write for him!?" and disagree with El Hassan or ESPN -- I am sure I have done so myself in the past-- but the fact remains that El Hassan does write for ESPN and has worked for the Suns' front office. So he does, objectively speaking, have some degree of knowledge and experience in NBA basketball that most of us do not have.
No way they will trade Harden for Love even if it is only to get Love because it simply won't make Rockets a better team.
Cyberx, Dwight lives in LA,so does Melos wife, that can't mean LA is the only place for those stars. In your opinion, better chance to be a Rocket, Melo or Love?
I'll answer that for him, only because it doesn't really require any inside knowledge. Melo is more attainable, simply because he is going to be a free agent this year, and the Rockets would only have to get rid of Lin/Asik's contract to make it work. I'd sign Melo, trade Parsons/Asik or Lin for one of the lottery picks that are being shopped around (Jazz at 5, kings at 8 have been mentioned) to sign Marcus Smart. Smart Harden Melo ? Howard
