Stephenson is a tenacious competitor. He hates losing as much as he likes winning. He provides leadership, defense, playmaking, accountability, and swagger. He can also bring it in the playoffs against elite competition. Born Ready > Chandler Bang...and it's not even close.
Thanks captain obvious, but it wasn't his fault that they lost. He was the best player on the court for either team today and almost had a triple-double. He also led the NBA in triple-doubles during the regular season. Sounds like you didn't even watch the game while I made a nice profit on the game.
I can't stand his attitude. There's a differencd between being competitive and having a few screws loose.
I'd take Leonard over him in an instant. Kawhi has such a great work ethic. Expect him to make a huge jump in production in the next couple of years when Duncan/Manu retires. I think he's going to become the face of the Spurs franchise.
If Harden played with as much energy as Stephenson, we'd be playing the Spurs right now. The problem is Harden's talented but not a true competitor like the greats. Stephenson competes with a chip on his shoulders
I'm going to update my list here in a second. Lots of great insights from the experts in the NBA dish.
Stephenson is a good player, but if he's your second or first best player... I see a draft lottery pick in your future.
is this another case where someone plays well against the heat and people think they're better than they really are like last year with hibbert. lance is a extremely talented dumbass who has tremendously low bbiq. its just that he's had his best 2 playoff game stretch.
