I'm sorry but his toughness alone is the reason he should be back. We're now down to 1 tough player, it is a sad day if we start next season with this group. We need Beverley, Cisco and two more tough guys at least!! Remember the 93-94 Rockets, they had probably 4-6 guys who would never back down.

That's fair, but most players don't like playing for someone who decides their rotation minutes based on a whim before every game. I'm sure he'd like to sign on to a team that is run by a more solid coach. It's hard to be ready off the bench when you might play 20 minutes then sit for a month, then play 4 minutes then sit for a week then play 9 minutes then sit for a month.

We could have used him in the Playoffs but McFail sucks in coaching and substitution.

Love ya Cisco, but please don't come back. Can't take much more of your idiotic tendency to foul and brick shots.

In other words you're saying players don't like to be out of the rotation. OK.

I'm just not prepared to blame his departure on not wanting to play for McHale, considering he was here last year with him and chose to take less money to come back to play for him again. I honestly think McHale tried to give all of those guys on the wing a chance and ultimately went away from all of them when it became clear they were all horribly inconsistent/unreliable.

Overall, he just wasn't that good this season IMO. That said, I wouldn't mind having him back for the minimum. He was the one guy who was always encouraging and building up the others, regardless of how many DNPs he collected. Plus, what else will I do with my Garcia tshirts? :p

Morey gave him the player option. He must be a franchise player!

Anyway, I was greatly disappointed that Garcia didn't get to guard Durant in the conference finals.

Masterful use of a player option by Morey.

 McHale WANTED a solid deep rotation, but his bench was garbage and inconsistent... that is why it varied so much. I still haven't heard a single player say anything negative about McHale.

Fine by me. He was useless against any team not named the Thunder.

The Rockets missed 3-fino's swagger. I'm not sure if Daniels will cut it. He seems to be a 3pt specialist only. Even that could be a flash in the pan.

The Bucks happen to be under the cap right now, ie no need to wait until July 1st.

The new owners of the Bucks are NY hedge fund guys who maybe have fonder memories of Linsanity on their mind?

Lin for Delfino & Wolters would be fantastic.

Wolters as a 6-5 PG has the size and ability to defend both guard positions. That defensive versatility is needed next to Harden. Also shot above 50% for 2P% in college and 46.5% in his rookie year in the NBA.

He will be back for the same deal. Obvious move from Morey for cap relief

Folks here really miss the whole picture with some of these moves.

Garcia actually helped out the Rockets (who might have been the ones telling him to please do this) by creating more capspace when they can turn back around and resign him to the exact same contract after they have made other free agent moves.

Sure Garcia can walk, but do you really think he's expecting a big pay day elsewhere? More than likely the Rockets are his best bet to get a contract again at the end of the day in July. I'm thankful to Cisco for helping us out for the Summer moves quite honestly.
