Not even this is true. As if it even means anything even if they were. Lance Stephenson reminds me of Harden in the way they are built. That doesn't mean anything anyways.

I think you forgot how good Wade was in 2006. Harden is not even in the same LEAGUE. Wade is the 3rd best shooting guard of all time after MJ and Kobe.

Bosh would be good 2nd, even a #1 on some teams.

Yeah but the team wouldn't be that good.

How would Carmelo do if he guarded Lebron all game every game?

Oh yea, most people don't care about defense, which wastes more energy than offense.

If Carmelo expanded half of George's energy on defense every night, he might just crack 20 points.

    Prime Wade was video game-esque

Cole said Lebron told him to take Stephenson, and slowed him down.

I think Lebron James coaches more than Spo.

David West missed a lot of easy shots tonight that he normally makes.

Yet for all George does on defense, he cannot create his own, like Melo and I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have as many offensive droughts.

Sure, they may not have as many offensive droughts. But it'll be a layup drill on the other side. So what's your point?

    Ask James Harden.

At least when George doesn't score, he holds Lebron to 22 points. Lebron didn't go off till the 4th.

His defense is already all-world. His offense just needs to become consistent. And it will improve. Nobody is expecting his offense to be all-world. George is going to become a better version of Ron Artest in his prime.

Miami didn't even play that well and managed to win and shoot over 50% in the process. As long as the Heat continue to play solid defense, they will win this series. PG's offense is suffering because he's exerting so much energy trying to contain LBJ. Last, give me Lance Stephenson over Chandler Parsons any day.

i respect paul george game but he just seems like a secondary star imo.

like a scottie pippen (which isn't bad at all). but to many times he disappears offensively, gets outplayed by teammates, and at times looks like he can't even create his own shot. if you're going to be a number 1 on a championship contending team you have to be able to be able to put the ball in the hoop.

can't win every game in the 80's.

not comparing the two but i'd take melo as a number 1 over pg. it's easier to put a defensive team around a great scorer/average defender than to put scorers AND defenders around a mediocre scorer/great defender.

then again this series is still young. pacers steal 1 game in miami the this is going to 7.

Well..this series can still go 7, but IMO it is over already. Heat in the finals.

    BOOK IT

    Another excuse for Paul George.
Even Harden didn't make excuses for looking like a scrub.

I've talked to a few Pacers fans and it seems his new found stardom has caused him to adopt an erratic and Kobe-like shot selection and ego.
