He made Knicks history! For the first time in a long time the Knicks, Lakers and Celtics worked together all to not make the playoffs. How could you forget that? TCOH detected!
When will Leslie Alexander hire an agent to investigate the Rox unfortunate officiating over the past couple of PlayOffs?
Didn't Donaghy confirm this? I can't remember exactly, but Stern told the refs to treat Yao differently starting in game 3. That series was manipulated, but of course Les did nothing and poor Van Gundy was fined $100K. Switch the roles and you know Cuban would've done something about it. I wouldn't call it irony, but an owner shouldn't have to put up with blatant crap like this each year. Cuban won in the end because the article even states that he's forgotten about it because he was partying too hard in 2011.
How many players have there been in league history that can "do-it-all"? Even MJ or Lebron couldn't anchor the defense like Tyson Chandler. Hakeem never played point-guard and never guarded the opponent's top wings.
He witnessed the rise of LINSANITY (from the bench). Pretty sad, but that is probably the funnest time for Knick fans during the Carmelo era.
Why do some of you still follow this "rigged" sport? The NBA must REALLY suck at rigging things if San Antonio has been this good for this long while the Knicks, Lakers, and Celtics all suck. There just seems very little motive for the end-results we are seeing on a yearly basis.
why do people say the 2006 finals was rigged? to anybody who followed the nba at that time that the nba was trying to desperately bring offense back to the nba after those defensive pistons/spurs finals. they tried to completely eliminate hand checking ad any contact with players on the perimeter that's why so many players had career highs that year with high fta numbers. wade was just a beneficiary of the way the nba was officiated at that time.
