He has nobody to throw the ball to him. I can see defenses simply doubling AJ and focusing on stopping Foster and being content to let Fitzpatrick try to beat them. I honestly think they kicked the QB question down the road to 2015.

I dissagree, I don't really think he is throwing a tantrum. He made some statements. Funny thing is I don't think it is about the money, more about not having a QB, again. If we traded up for Manziel or Bridgewater, or even drafted a QB at top of 2nd, I don't think he would have been saying this.

I would hope so. Double Andre, and you leave Deandre open. You don't have to have a great QB to use the weapons the Texans have. With Hopkins, Johnson, Foster, Graham, Griffin, Mike Thomas, and the Polish Hat the Texans have plenty of offensive targets for Fitz or Keenum to use. At a minimum they should have a league average offense.

Heh, he started this before the draft, it's about the new contract they denied. Neither Manziel or Bridgewater would be starting this year even if they were picked.

I went into last season with no expectations, I knew what we had in Kubiak which was weak and predictable. CAN'T WAIT!

Yeah, the way BOB confidently carries himself makes me think that this year is very promising. The way we drafted looks promising, and I know we haven't seen anything yet, I'm oddly optimistic that we can do better than Kubiak/Schaub at the helm.

Hopefully, last year was hiccup/blessing in disguise.

It's going to be interesting to see if this coaching staff will actually let the quarterback throw to Andre in the damn endzone. It's absolutely pathetic how Schaub and Kubiak would refuse to throw the ball in the endzone to arguably the best recuever of the last decade.

Bounce back 11-5 division title, and at least Conference finals.

lol its crazy when i look at the schedule and think, well this team sucks so should be a W.. but i did the same thing last year and i had 14 straight weeks of sorrow. i'll go with 6-10 and if its better then sweet. but i wouldnt count out 4-12..

Honestly to me if the Texans start Fitz and they go 8-8 and miss the playoffs I would consider this season a failure. You get a mediocre pick in the draft and miss out on the standout QBs. Don't get me wrong 8-8 is a major improvement from 2-14 and should be considered a good feat. I just feel Fitz is not the answer QB wise long term and eventually the warts will show when you can't find a franchise QB. Now if Tom Savage starts this season and they go 8-8 or 9-7 then we have something to build on in my opinion. That would show he can somewhat play in this league and we could build from that.

There were no "standout QB's", which is why we passed on the hype machine QB's of the early rounds. Every time the Texans pass on the Vince Young's of the world people get upset about it for some reason.

Will there be a Standout next year? . . . or the Next?

How many years between Andrew luck and Peyton Manning?

No matter that I think . .. you gonna have to end up getting lucky
