Asik and Parsons seems like a LOT for Millsap. I like him, but not that much! Am I completely undervaluing him?
I take CyberX info serious, and would like him to keep posting willingly in our forums. Idiots like you, ruin it for those of us who love our Rockets. Nothing personal but you are a pest.
I like how teams can see parsons name being thrown around, (so they can offer something for him also) morey just needs to put PARSONS on the trade block if he is serious about this team getting to a championship. Teams may dish out a big return for him, nothing like what they would give for LOVE but we could wing a solid starter and a 1st for him which can open up so many other doors. Free agents 3rd star will come here but we will have more assets to work with in a trade. This is the time to put parsons/jones on the trade block and get feelings out of it. ^^^^^^^^ called it again a few pages ago!! basketballholic faints, this was easy to put together, parsons is they key just how we got harden with the Lowry pick. Morey will try to take the same approach, something he's fimilar with. Parsons & Asik may end of in boston.
Oh please... Don't try to play the part that people were upset that you were calling out Harden. Posters are starting to get tired these threads and posts from you just posting crap just to post. As other posters stated in other threads, Harden got Houston to the playoffs where Lowry, P Pat, and others didn't. At the end of the day, that counted more than what these others did. We all get it. Harden and everyone else not named Howard played like crap during this playoffs. If Houston had just played any type of defense, that series would have been over within 5 games. Harden especially looked really bad this playoffs. Not only did he play little to no defense, but he couldn't even score on Mathews. Harden will need to make a change this offseason or it's only going to get worse for him and Houston. Morey's plan has been to get a third star. Regardless of what Harden has done this playoffs, he is here to stay unless someone like KD or Lebron are available. As Forrest Gump would say... That's all I have to say about that.
We all seen Harden give great effort on defense when he wanted to. Dude just have to make up in his mind to get 100% effort all the time. He has plenty of help offensively
Please keep it coming cyberx. I know it must be frustrating to have people doubt your info, but the vast majority of us do appreciate what you tell us. Ignore those doubters, they're probably jealous. I'd say a late first round pick. I don't think so. I think people here are so attached to Parsons, so they over-value him (see sig for example). I'm pretty sure Parsons/Asik for Millsap, and perhaps Carroll, is a very fair trade, considering Millsap is making 9 million, whereas Asik is making...15 million.
Liquidity, liquidity, liquidity..... In the modern NBA, teams want draft picks and not players under contract (unless they are getting a star). Further, the Rockets would need to get Parsons jettisoned sooner than later to maximize his value. I think that the Rockets can get a similar haul to what they got from Lowry for Parsons.... which is a 9-12ish pick. Is that enough? No.... but someone would give a #1 for Terrance Jones, and the Rockets can always include a pick or two of their own, and also can probably move Asik for a #1 if needed. The problem is that draft picks are not earthquake readings..... the value of the pick varies greatly depending on where you are drafting. That is to say a #12 pick is probably worth more than 3 #1's from Miami or San Antonio. Minnesota knows damn well that if they trade Love to the Rockets, that the Rockets are looking at 56-62 wins each of the next few years.
That's just normal due diligence. If your name ain't Harden or Howard, I need to know your market value is even if I'm not planning to trade you. My opinion.......Parsons should get you a 6-10 pick.
So you like the fact that he is stirring up negative vibes and spewing false acquisition. I don't believe Love is calling out Howard or Harden. Cyberx will continue to make these comments so you don't have to worry about that Ms. Lady. You have the right to voice your opinion correct and I've seen you disagree with several people on here. So why can't I voice my opinion when I have no faith in what ole buddy is talking about.
Come on, now this is what I mean by people on here over-valuing Parsons. A 6th pick, in this loaded draft, has the potential to be someone like Exum/Smart/Randle - all whom have star potential. Parsons would net a late lottery pick at best, IMHO. 9 or 10, maybe, depending on the draft order.
Like there weren't about Scola and he was equally hurtful in his last years. Love defends at a very low intensity, obviously you won't see backdoors from PFs but you'll see a dunk contest around him. He plays no transition D, and often gives up and disappears from the play... And no rim protection, bad lateral speed... Harden's current cancer level is certainly unmatched (defensively), but I would expect an improvement in him while growing. Maturity, effort, commitment, focus level. Love seems like a totally finished product, I doubt he improves his current version.
Cyberx will to continue to post his thoughts so you don't have to worry about that. You can also email him if you like. Dude chill out with the childish name calling on the freaking Internet. Be a keyboard Warrior all you want but I can guarantee you won't say that nonsense to my face. Joker ive probably been following the Rockets longer than you. So you are not the only one that love this team.
except Love is one of the few players that have improved in some aspect of his game every year. maybe not by leaps and bounds but he is generally always better in some way from the year before. Finished product? i doubt that I would say Harden is closer to a finished product than Love is
Seems fair, I really like Carroll's game. Having said that, I really feel like Millsap won't stick around. He's due for a nice payday.
