Might just be me, but I have a hard time using a post from an alleged inside source as proof of how Love really feels. May be true, may not be.
I am guessing that Kevin Love will come to have some more sympathy for Dwight at the end of his process. Dwight may not have handled everything well with this two year long drama from Orlando to LA to Houston, but it's hard not to have cause drama as a departing star in the NBA no matter how respectful and (consummately) professional you are about it. Love is gonna catch his own share of slings and arrows and be called a "drama queen/crybaby" a few times at least by some media loudmouth.
im not saying cyberx isnt credible because i know he is but this new info about dwight and harden seems a little bit far fetched. im not calling you a liar im just saying thats a bit too harsh to say about dwight not so much harden
its not just his defense guys, dudes dont respect how he flops to get his points. Us as rocket fans dont see anything worng with it, but its almost on cp3 level because he is actually rewared points in the process. hard nose players dont respect that (its a keeping it real type of thing) & him not trying on defense makes it worse
Again, thanks for the info! Please keep updating us! Any news on what Melo is thinking? What are Moreys plans this off season? Is there a plan A? B? Maybe even a C?
hes plays around alot, he brought it in the playoffs this year i will say, but everyone doesnt want to be around the goofing around, yes love hasnt done well in minny but hes trying to change that on his next team. Sounds like he wants to be around guys that are serious about winning not playing around or soft, rockets are the most friendly team in the NBA ^^^^^^YEP I CALLED IT before i saw this post we love our stars here but understand rockets are soft in most players eyes, its just reality
Sounds like Kevin Love's thoughts also go way beyond constructive criticism. Trust cyberx or not trust him, I would say that it shouldn't surprise anyone if Love does feel this way. Love may not have been on record saying this, but plenty of NBA observers, from Zach Lowe to Bomani Jones to Kelvin Sampson, have said similar things.
I don't care for the flops either but he legitimately gets fouled most of the time. Sadly, some of the fouls won't GET called without the flop, while some that aren't really fouls get called because of it. I hate that. But again, I'd give credit where it's due to his scoring ability.
Hell yeah. If negative words supposedly said by Love that someone heard then told someone else about it who then told someone else who told someone else who posted about it on an internet forum anonymously don't get Harden and Howard fired up, then we should just trade them and rebuild. But for real, assuming this is legit, I can understand where Love is coming from. He knows that he sucks at defense and that being teamed up with someone who sucks just as much might not be conducive to winning. He's being a hypocrite but it doesn't mean he's wrong. As for his criticism of Dwight, well, I'd say he's just wrong... but wrong or not it's bad news for us.
LOL. Let's see how Kevin Love feels after all the drama that's going to go down with him leaving Minnesota. He'll get a lot of the same media treatment Dwight did. Dwight is not a drama queen. please.
Look every player has their warts, there are very few exceptions. Trying to assemble a perfect team is foolish. The bottom line is with Harden and Howard, whatever their flaws, are still our best chance at a title in the next 3-7 years. We just have to live with that. If Love doesn't want to be a part of what we have going on here, so be it. Lets move on to Melo.
It doesn't really shock me about Harden, but Howard was a bit of an eyebrow raiser. Dwight has been great this year on and off the court and I loved his playoff effort. I was satisfied with his year here. Note: I didn't buy into all that Dwightmare BS. It was pretty clear a lot of that was media bias and garbage for ratings. Dwight was solid in Orlando before he started making some mistakes. It happens. Of course if things start to go bad here we'll see
I'd say Paul is pretty respected around the league and he's a grade A flopping whiner who has never gotten out of the 2nd round. I'm sure just about every player has taken notice to Hardens defensive woes, but I'd bet most of the league respects how talented and at times unstoppable he is offensively, whether they think he flops a ton or not.
Lol don't believe any of that crap about Harden and Dwight. LeBron of all people said he thought Harden was a superstar. God I hate the off season
harden is an elite offensive player. Half the time he doesnt even have to flop to get the call if he just worries about finishing. Hes strong and can get to the rim but TOO often we see him flop first instaed of worrying about scoring first. and we know whats up on D howard - everyone is not down with playing around doing the NENE etc, some players want tough vets that are serious at practice and before games. people here was like ronod is too serious for our team etc which i understood, hes not use to playing around hes use to vets being focus. Its not a knock on harden & howard thats who they are but people have to understand all players dont want to play with guys like that if they can pick where they want to go.
It's odd though considering Love is widely regarded (at least by fans) as a stat stuffing purely offensive player who plays 0 defense and has never led any team to a playoff spot. Isn't that basically Harden sans playoff part?
Yeah, nobody respects CP3. That's why no free agents want to go play with him. I guess that all the players also hate Durant since he's more of a foul drawing machine than Harden.
