If Love really does hold that opinion of Harden (all hypocrisy aside) I'm OK with it. Hell, anyone can see how bad Harden was on defense. IMO the more people that aren't OK with it, the better. Harden needs to feel the pressure to improve from everyone. I'm looking at you McHale.
I like how teams can see parsons name being thrown around, (so they can offer something for him also) morey just needs to put PARSONS on the trade block if he is serious about this team getting to a championship. Teams may dish out a big return for him, nothing like what they would give for LOVE but we could wing a solid starter and a 1st for him which can open up so many other doors. Free agents 3rd star will come here but we will have more assets to work with in a trade. This is the time to put parsons/jones on the trade block and get feelings out of it.
Thanks for the input Cyberx. I really enjoy your inside info. I think you should keep posting because it's not fair to the people that really like what you have to say! In response to what you've posted here, I had to have seen this coming. I don't like Hardens effort either, but Dwight?! Sounds like Love is buying into the bull crap ESPN spews about Dwight. After all the LA media hates him for leaving the Lakers. Back to the topic of Harden, does Morey realize this about Harden? In order to win championships, you have to be at the top of your game. In order to be at the top of your game you're gonna need to be in shape. You're not gonna be in shape when you're partying at the club all the time!!
Dwight=crybaby in Loves eyes and a drama queen. Not that he thinks he is a bad player, but just not the type of guy he wants to be. He is trying to be respectful with Minny and keep this very under-wraps. He wants the team to know of his intentions so it doesn't blindside them.
I could be wrong, but I think he meant that Howard hates Harden's defense and effort as well, not Love hating Howard's.
People got all angry at me pointing out Harden's faults. Turns out Kevin Love have the same thoughts. Not that I have the kind of experience in basketball that Love does, it's just that both Kevin Love and I have eyes and are not blinded by homerism.
This is where I am as well. If anything, Love is currently looked at as a Fantasy stud, but his game hasn't translated into more wins for any of his teams just yet. Now it could be the talent around him (not to mention that he plays in a stacked West), but like you said, Howard's track record speaks for itself, not to mention he was in beast mode at both ends in the playoffs.
Should we as rockets fan expect us to look in other directions? Doesn't seem like he likes our players so I don't see why we should even consider him. Harden and Howard are both better than love and have actually had playoff experience, love seems a bit bratty with these statements in mind.
Love is the kettle calling the pot black or whatever. He's a career loser. Who doesn't play D. Who is about to hold a franchise ransom.
hes plays around alot, he brought it in the playoffs this year i will say, but everyone doesnt want to be around the goofing around, yes love hasnt done well in minny but hes trying to change that on his next team. Sounds like he wants to be around guys that are serious about winning not playing around or soft, rockets are the most friendly team in the NBA
Wow, so your post really did read true. Love has a less than stellar opinion of Dwight. Harden I can see, everyone has seen his bad side(s) under the microscope this year. But Dwight... I thought he had a great year and absolutely balled in the playoffs. Maybe it's purely a personality thing? Dwight gets hammered all the time down low and rarely gets the calls. We've seen him complain as a result, but working the officials is all part of the game. I've only seen Love's non Rocket games occasionally but I've never considered him a banger like Dwight. Maybe it's a case of walking a mile in Dwight's shoes? Hmm.
Ouch. A drama queen? Ok, that rep might've been earned after his last year in Orlando and his only season in LA, but he was a professional and everything the Rockets could've asked for and more this season. Dwight needs to keep that going, of course, but I don't think it's fair to describe him in that way at this point in time.
Sounds like he wants to be part of the success and not THE reason for said success (i.e. Second Banana Status).
The Rockets have to go All-In. The team can't afford to stay put and watch teams get better. Howard could bolt in two years. Harden a few years after. I believe in Morey, but he has to get another star and prove to both the fans/howard/harden that Houston is the place to build a dynasty. If they bolt, then Morey ultimately failed. It will be hard to win rings with the likes of Heat/Pacers/Spurs/OKC... Hence... We must go ALL IN. Morey we need you.
There's nothing wrong with pointing out flaws. But be honest man, a lot of your stuff goes WAY beyond constructive criticism.
Love is a douche honestly, loool. Rather go for players who will work hard and keep players accountable, I think Dwight is one,but in his first year I dont think he wanted to step on James toes, maybe this offseason will humble James and look at the bigger picture. Love isnt a FA we need honestly IMO.
