http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=qjjmcez Throwing in a future #1 to Minnesota and a future #2 to Atlanta....I think this could be something that would work.
Love might be right about Harden but he's an idiot for including Dwight. Dont want this chump that hasnt even made the playoffs yet wants to talk about other players effor and defense...the ironic part being defense considering he might be as bad or worse than Harden on defense.
As far as Kevin Love reportedly looking at Chicago and Golden State, isn't it ironic that both teams have guards who are franchise cornerstones (Rose and Curry) and centers that are pretty good to great defenders (Noah and Bogut). Seems to me Love wants to be 1B or 1C and not the true alpha dog.
Even if you think cyberx is a phony(I think he/she/it is legit for the record), it's not like what was posted is far-fetched. Who isn't questioning Harden's effort these days? And you think that isn't impacting players' desire to come here? If fans like me are aware the Rockets have won only one playoff series in 17 years, you think agents and their clients don't know about this too?
Oh, yeah, he wants to be the Robin to someone's Batman. No doubt about it. Melo does, too...though he'd probably never admit to it.
Kevin Love gives you 25 and 10 but gives up 25-26 pts also. At least Melo outscores his opponent. You gotta go for Melo IMO.
Maybe there's some miscommunication bc Love has not an inch to talk. Dwight and Harden have been to the NBA Finals. Dwight was the main player in Orlando's run. Needless to say that Love hasn't done jack in the league yet. Impressive stats but his play is not conducive to winning (cue DD). I want Love but that's real rich coming from Kevin Love. LOL.
Maybe if Harden can get his defense up to Curry or Rose levels (i.e. mediocre instead of horrendous) Love will reconsider.
I have definitely seen some scribes say with regards to the Lakers and Celtics, if they get in the top 3, will probably keep that pick but if they stay at #6, #5, they might be more included to move that pick. BUT, the question remains then, do the Lakers and Celtics TRADE those picks on the RISK that Love could leave in 2015. Because make no mistake, Love will be a FA next year. Are the Lakers/Celtics better contenders in 2015 than the Rockets? (who would have cap space to sign Love at that time).
Yeah..... and Love is going to be grabbing 13-15 rebounds a game and dropping 25-30 points a night on Aldridge..... I will take my chances... Love is literally the PERFECT fit for Howard and Harden in the Rockets offense.... the number of open looks for all 3 would be scary.... that leaves teams unable to double anyone on the court against the Rockets....
It's definitely far-fetched considering the wide gap in pedigree between Kevin Love and Houston's two stars. But really you can just think back to how the media and fans laid into Lebron literally non-stop for not being "a winner," yet there no one who actually played, coached or involved on that level doubting his talent or thinking they'd rather play with - let's take a favorite of this forum - Rajon Rondo instead of Lebron. cyberx, like he always does, is attributing the mindset of fans who have proven time and time again to be - as oakdogg put - 90% idiots to that of professionals. The dichotomy is obvious, but I guess you people need to be fed even if it's empty nonsense.

Crazy. Who wouldn't trade Harden for Love? Look at the playoff series Harden had against Portland! I mean, look at how dominant Love has been in the playoffs... wait...
Rockets really need a 1st round pick like they had with the Lowry/Toronto pick. That was KEY to getting Harden.
